I am quite surprised that Prigozhin is allowed to speak so openly. I wonder if he wants to create a positioning – "the only one who warned us and told the truth when everybody else lied". It seems that he is thinking of the future after the war.

It is even more surprising because I doubt that ZSU started the main attack yet, if Russians have problem to stand the ground even during limited probing attacks what will happen once we will see 3-5 brigades strong mobile forces operation at a narrow front exploiting some weakness in defence.

agree, attacking all and i'm amazed that he hasn't drunk that cup of tea or been near any high open windows.
He even found time to wander into the RU MOD building, unchallenged except for a docile receptionist.....

The Swiss are at it again in the name of neutrality. And what a neutrality. Every country looking to buy weapons should remember the Swiss are neutral.

Have the Swiss asked Russia to stop firing missiles with 8% of Swiss components in them… no?

For those understanding German, Oberst (Colonel) Reiser of the Austrian Bundesherr publishes some good unemotional analysis. According to him, RU has adapted rather well. Defending intelligently it´s positions. Without an air air force which is able to challenge the RU air force and which is able support the ground forces appropriately, Ukr will have a hard time breaching RU lines. That´s why, Ukr moves only at snails pace since the start of the offensive. He equates the present situation with 1916. Both side moving back and forth with neither making significant gains.

I hope Ukr can find a weak spot and change the course of the war sooner than later.

Starting to take down the bridges from Crimea to the north. If not isolating Crimea it is cutting off resupply routes to their forces - especially following the rail lines being cut and arms depots being destroyed.

Chonhar bridge, one of a few bridges connecting Crimea to mainland Ukraine, was hit last night, Russian-installed "Crimea governor" Sergei Asksyonov reported

Local reported explosions around 5:50 a.m.

Just followed that thread, thanks ORAC. But what do the Ukrainians mean by asking who carried out the "demining of Chonhar"?

Governor of Russian occupied Kherson Oblast, Vladimir Saldo, has stated that both the road and rail bridges in Chonhar were destroyed by UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles.

There are over 100 2nd generation U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters (UH-60L) that were supposed to be upgraded but the Army stopped the program. Now they’re excess.

These are just like the ones given to the Afghans and they can be outfitted with guns, rockets and Hellfires.

Gen Zaluzhzhniy and Def Min Reznikov have asked for them. The Ukrainian Land Forces aviation desperately needs them for battlefield support, including direct support, casualty evacuation and disaster response.

We need to hand these over to UKR now.

Let’s get the word out there. Let slip the Hawks of War!

I would imagine once those lines are breached they will collapse as any supplies will be cut off and the soft underside rapidly taken.. or one hopes that will happen.. in the meantime its a slow slog destroying their ammunition stockpiles, supply routes, troop concentrations and command posts, all intended to weaken those front line fortifications.

BREAKING ⚡⚡⚡

"Russia is considering the scenario of a terrorist attack with the release of radiation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP" - Zelensky

"We give all the available information to our partners - everyone in the world”.

“All the evidence. Europe, America, China, Brazil, India, the Arab world, Africa - all countries, absolutely everyone should know this. International organizations. Everyone.”

“There should never be any terrorist attacks on nuclear power plants, anywhere. This time it should not be like with Kakhovka: the world has been warned, therefore the world can and must act,"

Hmmm ... Putin setting up a false flag terrorist attack? The NPP really should be under International control by now.
