While working from home over the last 6 months had been great, the boys were not looking forward to their daily commute restarting.

You do know, you can now get a fancy laser wheel tracking tool to check your wheel alignment?

Nope there is still room at the front, you're all going to have to reverse off and we will start again....

Turning up for the 0742 to Kings Cross, returning commuters were shocked by the fare increase imposed to pay for Thameslink's new Passenger Isolation & Separation System.

Not intended as a caption, but I'm glad I didn't have that lot behind me when I found that I had a flat battery restarting the car to get off the Eurotunnel at Folkstone!

Jones was dissapointed, when he was told they were to deploy to a red light area, this was not what he had in mind.

Don't forget, you need to leave room for the crew portaloos to be loaded.

Guy on the ground on the right to the guy standing on the carriage: "You're obviously not from that company that rhymes with waste-of-space, so what are we going to do with the other ten empty carriages?"

Sir, Sir, look in front -- no rails!
What did you expect at the end of the line, Hoskins?
But you said we were on an endless track.

Deployment's canceled, we've been ordered to return to base!
Do they have any idea how long it's going to take to unload all of these vehicles and put them back facing the other direction?

You Mr Railway Person, the General wants to know why we are at a coal fired power station?
Ah that explains why Otterburn are wondering why they have been delivered 10 wagons of Nutty Slack
