Well we needed something that would fit on the Carrriers and be capable of inflight refuelling the F35, as we had some surplus Herc's lying about a plan was hatched, true it needs some final tweaking, but the MOD are pleased as it is cheap.
I though ground resonance was more of rotary wing thing, but it seems if you fly low enough and time the hedgerows just right ...........

Oh, I don't think the ramps at Brize are overcrowded at all...
The RAF continues with its downsizing with the final step being all virtual flying to accomplish the Zero Airframes goal.
