My favourite is still the toast to the French Navy which has its origins at the Battle of Trafalgar: "A l'eau. C'est l'heure".

I'm a big fan of puns, However you have to be careful not to use too many, once you get into double figures you might think you got a laugh, but in reality no pun in ten did...
