Only when looking at the early photos of RAF Puma pilots armour, did it begin to dawn of Flying Officer Scroggs how long they had actually been in service.

This year's MRD Crew prepare to wind-up their Derwent's ready for snow clearing duties ... body armour is now de rigueur courtesy of the Elf & Safety Executive should a compressor fail ... ops looks like one has already

In a vain attempt to get to understand the difficulties that WRAF and WRAC's go through, several troops were volunteered to try on the WRAF upper torso body suits. Though when shown the shape of the leg suits, the concern on their faces was palpable.
