The incredible performance of the upgraded engines on the Buff was so great that it could actually carry an aircraft carrier, complete with air wing. Landing was describe as a tad tricky though.
The Navalized version of the B-52 set new standards for RCS growth due to Mod's but did win the Navy's Akron Award for self protection.
