"Ok we'll tell it like this,
as we were lifting it, John here was trying to attract Sam the crane drivers attention by shouting "Sam, Sam, Sam", and the next thing we knew the pilot in the cockpit monitoring the operation banged in full right stick and pushed the nose down."

Timmy Tonka Remembered the stories from Grand Uncle Henry Hunter about how back in his day he flew under Tower Bridge, so how hard could this crane jib possibly be?

So we we almost had it on it's plinth, when some poncy arty-farty burd pulls up and says to my Bert;
"I remember long sublime walks in the Welsh mountains with my father, when suddenly a fighter plane would rip through the sky, and shatter everything. It was so exciting, loud and overwhelming; it would literally take our breath away. The sound would arrive from nowhere, all you would see was a shadow and then the plane was gone."
but by the time we'd figgered-out WTF she was on about, Bert had lost it.......
