No chaps ... Not like that ... One simply gets a WAAF to straddle the old kite while one does a ground run

After a diversion into a French FOB, the crews stayed out to guard their aircraft. There was no way they were heading back to blighty in a pink aircraft.

I am sure the regulation reads, "No drinking within 150 feet of the aircraft, no smoking within 8 hours of your flight"
