I remember my Grandfather complaining about the similar thing happening in the 1950’s where he worked. ‘No one has war experience anymore’.
I remember my father complaining about a similar thing in the 1980’s. ‘No one has large multi engine taildragger experience anymore.
I remember complaining myself in the 2010’s about no one having analogue jet experience anymore.
I guess Orville complained no one had bicycle experience.

3% basic (contractual step), and 5% hourly pay increase. No housing or education allowance increase. A big fat zero after 2 consecutive record profits. Still 5 steps behind on the contract after 15 years, and no real basic salary raise since 2011. I’m thankful for the bonus, but what a slap in the face. Nobody even had the cahonas to sign their name to the email this time 🤣

How can you do away so easily with > 100 THOUSAND € worth of bonus for FO and > 150 THOUSAND € for CPT?

Do you not consider that the massive bonus more than compensates you in terms of increased pay. It’s not like you are worrying about increasing utility bills or transport costs getting to and from work.
