Where’s the roadshow now? Has anyone attended and willing to provide what the turnout has been? I’m assuming most of the positions will be filled shortly.

I can only assume it’s sarcastic… But maybe that’s the new generation of EK captains! Rather worrying… Having gone through the process myself, many moons ago….

I remember my father complaining about a similar thing in the 1980’s. ‘No one has large multi engine taildragger experience anymore.
I remember complaining myself in the 2010’s about no one having analogue jet experience anymore.
I guess Orville complained no one had bicycle experience.

I think you are correct. It's an incredible coincidence that all pilots that are even just slightly junior to oneself are inferior. Yet those more senior are either past it, or of similar experience.
Perhaps somehow tied up with how Coriolis works?

“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.”

Socrates, 400 B.C.

No pay review?
Not even an email telling us to stuff it.
Was expecting at least 20%.

Do you not consider that the massive bonus more than compensates you in terms of increased pay. It’s not like you are worrying about increasing utility bills or transport costs getting to and from work.

It must be very hard for you. Maybe you could get a go fund me page going.
