😂😂😂 What an embarrassment. Even worse is you trying to justify it

Hello everyone!
I will be applying for a cadet type rating program with Ryanair and I would like to ask anyone who might know a few questions:
1) Is the only way to apply via their site? (I think someone told me last year that you can apply via an agency or something that will guarantee you different contract? not even sure how valid this is).
2) I think the 2 types of contract are employee and contractor, could someone point out the differences and their duration?
3) Is the type of contract I will be offered up to me at all? Or will Ryan decide?

Hi everyone,
I have applied 10 months ago, I have all minimum requirements, passed all my ATPL first time, have a good school report, and never been called for an online assessment. All my friends who did the training in the same time have been called. Is there any un written criteria ? Age (I am 41) ?
Thanks

Age shouldn't be an issue as you still have 20+ y to fly. It is at least not mentioned in the criteria to be hired.
Did they train at the same school as you?

Hi guys!

Congrats to all of you who got called for the assessment.

I have a question, is Ryanair calling only cadets? Or also FO type rated with experience?

I applied through the RYR website as experienced FO 737NG months ago but never got a reply…

Thanks!!

I have a few contacts in the Training world and they are gearing up for cadet entries to increase for FR. I would guess that RyanAir are focussed on cadet recruitment to fill their recruitment requirements at this moment. The latest I heard was that they weren't too keen on looking at experienced FO as they also increased command possible upgrades to minimum of 1500 hours with FR. This obstacle has reduced the number of applications from well worn in FO applicants and so are more focussed on cadet input to mould to their needs.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to bother you again with the same question but...... you know, when some are called in one week and others still haven't been called after 2 months... I'm starting to ask myself questions about my candidacy : are the documents ok ? Is there a issue with my email and I haven't received it ? I hope you will understand the feeling.

I said to myself then, very well, I will contact the recruitment team to find out if there is any issue with all my documents & infos... Only for this purpose. After all, if all the documents are there but I'm not called, there's a reason. I would clearly prefer that they send me an email saying "your profile doesn't match" and that's it. But for the moment, the thing I see is people be called, and me, i'm confused... and lost.

And on the other hand, I read on the FAQ of the website, that it is forbidden to try to contact them, subject to seeing our applications be refused, even if it is to know where the file is.

"A: Applicants should not attempt to contact us regarding the status of their application.
Due to the volume of applications we receive, it is not possible for us to respond to applicants who enquire into their application status.
Applicants who “canvass” their application in this way may be disqualified from the selection process.
Applicants will be contacted WHEN they have been selected to proceed in the selection process. If you are yet to receive communication regarding your application,
then it is still under review.
Q. Can I be provided feedback in reference to the status of my application?
A: Unfortunately, not. it is not possible to provide a time-frame as to when OR if an application would be selected to proceed in the application process.
Applicants who do not follow the application procedure and/or attempt to “canvass” their application will be disqualified."

Do you have an opinion on the fact of sending an email to the recruitement team just to now if everything ok in term of documents ?

Best

I did my online assessment in October and heard back after 3 weeks. I have delayed the assessment once due to travel restrictions but they were super nice about it.
