The training contract comprises a basic salary of 16800€ per year + 14€ PBH. The contract starts during base training and may last 6 months (including the line training). It might be terminated before 6 months and be replaced by a permanent one. Some friends of mine got a permanent contract before the end of the 6 months training contract, some others are still waiting...

Can anyone shed any light on the situation with the experienced lot? Are they flying a decent number of hours already? I guess that this depends on the base though, with some bases being busier than others.

I did the online assessment 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet.
I'd be really interested to know how long after the assessments the rest of you got replies.
Thanks for the feedback!

It seems they are recruiting by waves according to their training capacities. Don't stop training because it will go fast when the wave hits you

Hi Guys,
Hope you're all fine!
Really really lost about ryanair scheme.
I'm a cadet and I finished my training just 2 months ago (working for a compagny now as transport manager) with a salary around 2200 € in France.
But I'm really thinking about Ryanair. As a lots of cadets, the 737 is a dream, but these conditions are really really tough. I heard that If I do a TR with BAA training on 320 or 737, I have 90%to find a job with smartlynx or wizz. Is it real ?
Really really lost ! I hope the ryanair scheme will evolve soon for a decent price (like 5000 € with a bound) or even 10 or 15K the TR.
Thanks in advance for your replies

Good to see that, despite all the hater's comments regarding not having a future contract blah blah blah, every cadet I have flown with has now received their permanent contract (albeit 12 months probation) and base. All but 1 had UK and they are as happy as Larry.
I'm sure people will still complain p2f, subpar wages etc. but at least these cadets are now in a job and in a year or two they can decide whether to make it a career here or somewhere else. If you ask me it's better than working at McDonald's and repaying the training loan whilst spending more money to keep current.
Oh and the rumours is over a thousand cadets for the year coming Vs the 600 hired last year.
Good news all around 👍🏻

Hello everyone!
I am required to do the online pre-assessment test in the next days. Could you please say me what I have to study about ATPL material and if there is a web that prepares for that?
Thanks in advance and good luck!

The website called "Pilot Assessment" covers a lot of ATPL material. It also covers everything else you will need for the online assessment. I used it and can definitely recommend! Good luck!
