Same here: 44yo, all first passes, 96% ATPL, JOC and MCC on 737, Aeronautical Engineer, ICAO English 6, almost 300h (which is good for a cadet), fATPL....not good enough to proceed to the interview phase!

Not yet! Feeling a bit discouraged at the moment since I am now realizing that age and knowing the correct people seem to be fundamental factors in this industry!
Always thought these would be important factors, but not as fundamental as I am now realizing!

At 30k RYR were unable to attract enough cadets during a worldwide pandemic never mind at 40k when a recovery looms and every other operator will be recruiting.

For those who have passed the online assessment, have you been added to « the holding pool » too ? If so, how long have you waited between the successful email and the one inviting you to the sim day ?

it’s been almost ten days for me and I haven’t heard anything which seems longer than what I’ve seen on this forum.
