spare ex Sq chairs
... They dont need them, they just need the cheapest seats and lots of them..... I would expect to see this aircraft with 100 more seats than it has now......

Until someone states that they obtained their AOC, does ANYONE expect to get a job?

I'm also amazed that any company would try starting operations with 4 aircraft types, and on a final note, which part of my statement that they fleeced their suppliers in Jeddah last year and disappeared didnt people understand? Why on earth would Lotus 4 accept them this year?

BTW, I hate traveling and sitting in airline business lounges, so thank you all for the amusement.....Ah well.... time for another beer.....

Good Luck

FlyingBlue79,

Try answering the question? And while you are at it, try finding out what is the quota for religious Hajj traffic in 2009, what about Umrah, when does the Umrah season finish? Who are the competitors, who are the customers, what is the market rate for aircraft, what about the market rate for crew? And if you have bothered to read my previous messages you would have found your answer about the visas.....

And while Im in the mood, i still stand by my previous statement that SVA wont contract them for Umrah nor Hajj..... Got that straight from the horses mouth!

As for spending time in airline lounges productively.... you obviously don't meet the right people

Beer time...

Irishpilot,

No arabic speakers among Azerbaijani crew, I am the only one. We've got few francophones (including me), and the rest are english speakers.
The reason why people being hired from Azerbaijan-you will know it later on..maybe when u're in Jeddah..

Mutt,

The info you possess is outdated, the owners changed, everything now changed within Eagle Aviation, so let's hope that the changes are positive!

Cheers!

Looking forward to joining Eagle as ground staff in France, but a it annoyed today as the original gumpf said that it was permanent contract. They are dithering with the contracts at the moment and are now looking at offering 1 year contracts instead of the permanent as advertised.

Does anyone know how this will affect the working conditions, I mean, its a company based in France, I would be working for them in France, but not sure if I am on the payroll through Wynnwith who are based in the UK whether I would then be a UK contractor in France working under UK employment laws? I know that employees in France have a multitude of rights so if they give a 1 year contract they are working their way around this?

Anyone any thoughts or pearls of wisdom?

eagle aviation europe

Hi guys, read some of your messages regarding eagle aviation. i just got hired from the philippines and we are set to go this month to Amsterdam (business visa) for training. our employment was pretty quick, interview today and the next day we were informed that we are hired. i'm just worried because they give little information about the company. we are only offered very little unlike the post that i read a while ago. we were offered $1,000 less the insurance which until now we dont know how much for sure. $50 lay over outside country base and no answer as to $50 per lay over or per day in 1 lay over. expense pay for Block in to block out was not answered either and that's where the money comes in- flying time. i'm very much concerned about the salary and the contract because they told us that we can only view the contract 3 days before departure and there is no backing out. its 1 yr contract and as for resignation, 1 month notice is needed so they can shoulder the airplane fare, otherwise we pay for our own. i have friends from atlanta, same like eagle air who's lease with saudia that they only receive the basic pay and lay overs outside base shall be given after 1 yr contract. they were filled with 4 legs and 3 legs. over worked and under payed. i just dont know if this is the same with eagle air. our training will be mixed with thai and malaysians. Our destinations were south africa, european countries and Philippines. Might be based in Saudi Arabia. Need some enlightenment. thanks aight

hi again,

I just received an email from stephanie, she apologized for this terrible delay, but I think we can't blame Wynnwith for the moment just Eagle, anyway she told me that the training it s gonna be definitely in Paris and we should start mid of september, they just have the location confirmed not the date yet! they are still waiting for eagle's update to inform us! just hope that we are not gonna wait again as long as we did! Any more information from u guys is very welcomed!

Oceana,

Forget about other places, it is Jeddah for sure..Eagle is serving Saudi Airlines, and they need us in there..Rumours about France and other countries were only in order to attact people, now it's time to face reality..

Cheers lady!

99.9% is JED, but as i know and told me they're working to base us in DBX, but....nothing is sure....only JED, at the moment. in the future, might be even somewhere in europe, but we will not choose our base, the company'll choose for us, as by need! normal situation for acmi work!
