oh oh

Seems like there is quite an unfairness going on here
for asian crews which will be paid only 1000 USD per month and 50 USD allowance which eventhough I have heard that company guarantee that we will not earn less than 1500 USD per month (that's already including everything)... sighs! BUT we have to live our life exactly the same as u European crews... really wanna see how's the contract gonna be... so confusing coz when we had an interview with them they said we will get paid 1300 sth Euro as well...

For Training we Thai crew will be trained in Amsterdam for 3 weeks session and will stay at Novotel Airport Hotel... we have been informed that we will be paid 50 USD per day during training.

Same as other places we have no further information .. once we contacted our agency here they only said please hold on ... assuming that the airline must be very busy at the moment as they r reconstructing the organisation.

Let's be patient , see and hope things will be brighten very soon!
Report from BKK station...

I could wrong But aren't the europeans on a really short course about a week long? Thai's on a 3 week course. Most if not all euros working though WW.

Maybe when the first contract is up work through the best route. Wynnwith or direct whatever is the best condition/money. I'm guessing but in a years time the job market will be very different?

Chin up

Atleast in JED you can't spend all your money on Cosmo's/mud slids

What attestation did you mean by that?

we are all ex-crew and had been trained from the previous Airlines. I just wanna know what ain't Non-European doesn't have and what are European have got during Training Course in your previous Airlines?

I've been trained from Qatar Airways for my previous career and doesn't seem much diff from you as an European, right?

and I don't feel much comfortable to read all kind of discrimination you had posted on here. Let's post something much more make sense rather than posting of a discrimination yourself. For the future we must embake the same plane, work as a team. don't you remember?

As you said you did not make a discimination but the more I keep reading your post the more I see the distinction.

regards from Philippine

First thing, calm down, All that was said is people are on different contracts.... do you have an attestation? yes or no? how long is your course? does it cost money for the company? if its so bad get on the wynnwith contract. If you can't don't claim its because of (now think of a reason and moan about it) otherwise...

give us a break....

great use of the font size though...

One of the requirements for the interview with Eagle was to have the Attestation and medical II. That means we have Initial training and medical done...

id like to put a few things straight regarding this thread.ok the uk crew are employed by wynnwith, the advert clearly stated that you must hold your attestation certificate, which really only means you are PRESENTLY current with regards to your sep training,(doors and slides will still need to be completed as its a different a/c type),training in paris..yes paris..and will be very soon anticipate to recieve a call next week, with training prob taking place 1st week of sept, for those who carry the attestation certificate means you only carry out a max 1 week of training unlike the asian crew and crew from baku, they have to carry out a 3 week training course(initial).slaries do differ this is because we are employed here in the uk by an agency, and my fellow collegues by either eagle direct or there agency in there own country.
the base is jeddha,at the moment and wont change in the very near future.fleet is 747/757 and lead to believe the 767.
the required 3 months in jeddha is purely on the basis of the visa requirments there.those who constantly blame wynnwith shouldnt,if theres no news to report, then theres no news.
but do believe me this operation is going ahead with some very nice destinations mentioned,we must all pull together keep positive ,and its up to us to make this a success, success brings rewards and this could be the extension of our contract or even a permanant one.i appreciate its been 4 weeks since some of you had your interview, but remember we are dealing with the french aviation, they are thorough and will not provide this until they are satisfied, remember what happened to the last eagle aviation operation although the owner still had cash when it closed nothing was paid on time,or not at all.the owners are different now theres good cash behind the operation, and management want this to be a real success like i hope we all do,the flights are on behalf of saudi, who knows what other contracts have been looked at but im sure more will arise, again thats up to us,good positive feedback can only benefit the company and us..
i hope this clarifys some things for you, dont panic we will all be together very soon enjoying the great flying thats forcased..

Prettycool : I believe that the ATTESTATION is actually mentioned before as they call it European License... we probably had not that big different training with our ex airline like myself was with Qantas which they r so great at it. Again as Eagle Aviation is originally established in France and it's considered as European Airlines ... I wouldn't be surprised if the Attestation is required for us since we need to be their crew. Let's make it this way ... How fun it's gonna be that we can share our great time in Amsterdam for 3 weeks .. sounds fabulous isn't it ?? lol
I wasn't try to raise up the discrimination issue between CREWS no matter where we r from ... but i don't want to see that company treat us differently that's all... coz you would never know how is the feeling of people who do same kind of works, living pretty much the same life, work as hard as u and feel the same tired as you feel but being treated differently... that's hurt for us ...
Anyway i hope that things will get brighter later on... life is the challenge !! really can't wait can't wait

the only difference, as was explained, between us (EU) and you (NOT EU), is the certification: in Europe to be a cabin crew and to work as cc you need a particular cerification, issued not by the company, but by the authorities (even through the company)...and this cerification allows you to work everywhere in EU. In one of my previous company i met colleagues whith years of experience in different companies (LAN, EK, Qantas, Thai, AA, DL....) but when joined the company the had the initial again (and sometimes our initial was worst than the training they had)...but theese are the rules. our cerificate is called AFS, and only from march 2009 is really european, and not national...and it means that, with this, we can work in every company in every country, the only training we need changing the airline, is a short one with company's procedure and commercial. only one example, abour Germany and UK, that i kow: with FR cerification, moving to BA you had to have the initial again, 'cause their cerificate was of the company...and the some moving from LH to LTU, for example...

about contract, the only difference is that we are hired from a broker, and probably you direct from the company...or from another broker...

see u soon....i'm sure we'll be a great team!!!

Unhappy any news?

Does anyone have more exact information about that when Eagle Aviation will begin to operate? or when we will begin to move to home base?

regards...

The only information I have is that we're doing the training in Paris in September and will start flying in mid-end September.
