i spoke to ww earlier and they told me that aircraft is in albania and so is the decision maker. AOC not granted yet and everything is delayed until they issue it. They could not give time scale, which is a problem for me as I was supposed to start in france in two weeks time.

Albanian B747 - I forum di Aviazione Civile
A/C was/is in Albania indeed (according to that forum, for those of you who can read Italian). How did you know it is in Saudia now ?
By the way, you said "training by the end of 1st 3rd of sept".... What do you mean ? end of 1st week ? end of 3rd week ?
Thank you.

in eagle told me that the A/C is waiting fort us in SA...and they're in a hurry to start due the hight costs of parking (about 5500£/week), and an A/C not flying only costs, and a lot ...but i'm not surprised if the A/C was moved to albania, only to park it there. about the training for eu crew, the beginning is still planned for 08/09-09, but subjected to AOC... so if this week the AOC will be not delivered, the training will be probably delayed of a week! info coming from EAE! think that we were waiting till now, so....we can wait a bit more....

I'd say the aircraft won't fly to JED until the Company gets the AOC.... Does anybody know if an airline can fly an empty plane without AOC??? I'm just wondering how the aircraft got to Albania then....

as by albanian forum....the A/C flew in TIA with LV flt nr...so, and it's only what i suppose, is parked there only for less parking costs. Is impossible to fly a 747 to/from there...due 2000 reason....so it will be there only for few days. As by info I recieved the A/C was planned to be in JED, but I know now that my info was wrong...I only reported what they told me! sorry!!! ...by the way...I'm really thinking that now we are on the final steps....we will start soon....if I'll recieve more info...I'll post.

hi , last i heard is that one of their 747's (400) is in france (ST NAZARE? ) and a second one is in danemark
as of right now , they have two 747-412's
registered as F-GTIR and F-GTIJ
F-GTIJ is undergoing a C-Check
and the TIR is frech from C
as far as i know, many lessees approached the lease manager ( C. Garbaccio) to take the AC's on ACMI for hajj operations , but all the negotiations failed because of the non negotiable rate of $7900 PBH (TOO HIGH)
one of the operators is Kyrgzystan airlines , and the second one is a Tour organizer from Pakistan .

There is nothing on the schedule for their planes
the lease manager does not want to lease the plane and she is asking for an exhorbitant price
i will keep you guys posted if anything changes

Ref Jason.
Did he mean, He has no confirmed idea. Could he have meant we could be flying next week or next year? Would 2 weeks after the AOC arrives be about right?
$7900 pbh? whats PBH?
