I think they made it more simple.
I have attended an Abu Dhabi Assessment last September... It was just simple english proficiency test...

i got 'spots' on my legs(i once fall down from flight of stairs..mm.when i am 8) if i am going to attend an interview,can i wear silk socks or trousers or jeans to cover it??????

Hey guys i saw the forum today and read all the posts of this thread
my situation here is that i was succesful through the recruitement day...1 week later i got a mail that says that they will process my application and get the clearances..buut do not resign from ure job until u get a job offer and u review an send it back..the assesement day was in lebanon on the 8th of october..we were 30 peopple..they took 2 males 4 females..we ggot that mail only 7 days after that date..now its been 17 days since the recruitement day and havent received a mail asking us to do the medicals
) any similar case recently?

ANYBODY...hello! did an online application with ETIHAD last nov. 2006 I got a response with them asking me about my interest with their open day assessment in ABU DHABI it was last APRIL 2007. I did reply with them a couple of times but until now haven't reply yet....Do i have to give up???

never give up! always try!! u will get your chance sooner or later! some pple even pass the asesement day and then get a rejection mail!

It happened to me too and they did not call me and I have to call them to inquire what's my status... because some of the people that also passed the interview have been called already to do their police clearance.
I say, send them an e-mail to inquire what is your status. Better, give them a call. Check on their website for their phone number... Ok?

Guys i got a call to start up my medicals..he said within 2 3 days!! and asked me if 11 november would be a good joining date! i said ok! i am stupied how am i gonna be able to prepare my self by then!!
Jesus!~ they are so fast nowadays..
i went tothe assesment on the 8th of october! today is 28
so all in all its 33 days from assesement to joining date!!

Wow they don't waste time do they...
Even if I got that far, I wouldn't be able to start until January 08 the earliest because I have my lease to consider which ends February.
Anyway, I'm thinking too far ahead of myself. Getting a little nervous about Sydney Assessment day coming up this saturday.

Scars on legs
Hi I went for the assessment day in Sept 2007 - I have some veins on my legs and I chose to wear a skirt (even though there were a lot of girls wearing trousers). I used foundation to cover it up, and you could hardly see it through the regular pantyhose I wore. Try the Body Foundation - it's a bit creamy and dries quickly, so it won't rub off. Alternatively you could wear trousers (business style).

Hey, who can tell me how long it takes for Etihad Airways to get back to you if you apply one month and few days before the advertised assessment day? I am very intersted in this!
Do you think that they accept PDF-Formats for documents as attachements to the online application form??
