Hi everyone.
I'm due to start with EY in a few weeks time and am looking for a bit of advice regarding two very minor details:
1) Should i wait until i am in AUH to buy my luggage? If not, what are the requirements for luggage (in terms of colour, size, etc)?
2) Shoes...Thinking that since i have the time to look for a pair of comfortable but decent looking ones, i might as well do so before i leave. So, again, what are the requirements for males (colour, style, etc)?

im going for the open registration tomorrow in toronto.. anyone else going?? i am soo freakin nervous.. im 24 and A GUY... i dont know if there would be **** loads of ppl showin up.. so just a resume, 2 photos and a smile and be clean and well groomed eh.... ai ai ai!

I went to the registration earlier this year, and it was not too many people. Maybe 25 or so....It was not really an interview, just wait for your turn, go in and hand in your resume, photos and say something about yourself...not even a minute..However, they insist you must register online. Do that before you go to the registration tomorrow and indicate that your resume is online as well...Not sure how fast you can actually fill it up...already 9:45pm ...Best of luck!

Good luck to everyone tonight and tomorrow in Toronto! I've made it to Toronto safely, and it was quite awesome to see the huge Etihad plane parked at T1. I think they landed just before I did.

Hi Phillipe I have received my contract and start with EY on the 23rd of September. Im actually nervous, all that excitement and day dreaming and the torture of waiting is over. When is your starting date? be cool if we were in the same training class. Anyway once again a big congratulations Phillipe and I will see you in Abu Dhabi Yeeyahh!!!

Anyone starting 23rd September
Hey guys I fly out from Melbourne on the 22nd to join EY on the 23rd of September. Is there anyone else out there starting on this date let me know it will be good to be aquainted before the training.
Best wishes and be positive to everybody in this forum still waiting for that email/phone call patience is a virtue no news is definately good news.
To all the candidates who are attending assesment centres, just be yourselves and be truthful as they can see write through you and are judging every aspect of your look, interaction, body language, and how you react under pressure and how you answer there questions.

Shoes are provided and so is your cabin bag. So come over ... they have everythin here.. I was home sick now i love it and i feel that i will grow with them and we be able to be part of the airlines growth.
When u come here dont look back just look forward cause after your trainin and all u will have new close friends who are your family and a really good journey.
Anyone from melbourne msg me and let me know when u come over.. LOVE some more friends from home...

Very happy to hear the good news from all of you..
Lindsay, you are starting early....good for you..i wish i could start so early as well..but i have to sell all my stuff here, get rid of my house, my car, so everything..and still my flying..so i will join you on the first of november...
I went to the assessment day yesterday in brussels to support my dearest friend fly_84, and she made it through the final..i m so happy or her..i think she will make it, also her friend Aurélie, and the rest...
so, now i m even more excited to go overthere, and i can really not wait..these two months will be torture...will happy to see my new friends and "family"...

so i have my assessment on sunday the 2nd! there weren't alot of ppl - but i went rite at 4 and by the time they got to me - sat assessment was all booked! so i guess there were enuf ppl in retrospect! im so nervous now.. the more i think about it the more nervous i get! so after the assessment is there another interview? im sorry im really clueless on their format! i know the assessment will/can last all day.. so we;ll see.. any know wat really happens and wanna fill us in.. would really appreciate it!
