WOW Hawke eye....easy tiger!! It was a joke and all knew it...except you! Get off your high horse.
A few points for me to respond to regarding your little outburst against me...

I dont give a crap about senority....as a junior CSM i dont have any seniority so re-direct your aggression with that topic elsewhere.

I dont agree with the last EBA and band payments - thats why i voted NO.

The sooner we get one big division i think the better. Strength in numbers so dont use that as a threat against me.

I understand you do night sectors all the time. I do loads of PER & DRW horrors. I know they arent even half the duty of your longhaul night sectors but regardless thats what we have and i see them all the time.

And dont underestimate a quick 1hour sector and the work thats involved in doing 4 of them in one day. It aint all roses loading up those 767 Aces (always full), and turning them around in 40mins on the ground - take out the first 5mins unloading, cleaners, caterers and then re-loading 18mins later. No laying in a bunk for 2-3hours....

I dont give L/H grief - give some us S/Haulers a break. We work bloody hard and work more hours.

Hawke eye...learn to lighten up. Pick your battles buddy and dont alienate those who do support you.

Sydney S haul,
please accept my apologies. Your criticism has been received and appreciated. There was no inference in my post that S Haul do not work hard or tha tone hour sectors are always easy. It was merely to reflect that there is a vast difference in the type of flying between the two divisions.

Yes I and im sure others over here in L Haul like myself are still somewhat touchy with our S Haul Brethren for what has occurred. However I should have taken it as the laugh it was intended to be
As far as seniority it is a thing of the past that will be decided in the future.

Once again I apologise for any offence given. Its been a rough two days watching our FAAA most senior officials credibility crumble before our eyes. And to rub salt in the wound imagining the laughter that must be pouring forth from the Company over this demonstration of a new flying pattern.

I wouldn't worry about it too much Sydney S/H. I don't think this little one is running on all 8 cylinders, if you get my drift.

Hawke eye,

Thank you for the apology. And the way you did it publicly. Much appreciated.

this all sounds promising but i dare judge the crew onboard now lets face it you get doses of good bad and ugly.
good news my friend on a shortlist from the last recruitment drive who never got to go on a secondment was emailed today by qf recruitment informing them that there reference checks are currently being made and they will be notified of events to occur in April. so something is in the air my opinion and i read on another thread that quite possible if IR changes AO will be absorbed with Qf under AO award and conditions accepted so new recruits welcome the new conditions like u said. This will be the only way we have a chance QF mgmt are not that dumb... But still a change is as good as a holiday given the opportunity then our choice.

Cool ...................JESSICA SIMPSON ??????

....................got it in one Hostie with the Mostie.
Apparently, none of the other Team Managers bothered to apply for the "poisoned chalice" !!!
Why would you-presiding of bunch of "overpaid, underworked, uncouth, slacko's" ( quote from Darth ) who are soon to be replaced by Jet * bunnies from various SE Asian bases.
I had the pleasure of attending a Forum in LAX with Tarantula playing the starring role. When she gets fired up ................ooooohhhhhhh ahhhhhhhh its a real turn on.
Any way enough of my secret fantasies.
I'm off to bed to bite my pillow !!

Bad Adventures & Eden99 ,

May I suggest that you both either buy or at least find someone who has a dictionary and look up the word plagiarism….

What you fail to understand is that your views, hawkeyes and lowerlobes are not the views of most crew.
If you really believe that, then either you don't fly longhaul or you don't speak to other crew. And just because crew don't call the union with every concern they have, it doesn't mean they don't have these concerns. Most crew are just too apathetic to do anything, or they don't think it would make a difference, anyway.

plagiarism

Bad smell..did you borrow a dictionary to find what plagiarism means ?

If you look back at the previous posts it was myself that first used the analogy of the Iraqi ministry of information and it’s farcical explanation of events to that of some faaa officials and friends here on pprune and their explanations. I also suggested that Pegasus was myopic (for those in the faaa that means one eyed).

Then both Bad Adventures and Eden99 copied my ideas in their posts. Maybe Eden and Bad Adventures are one in the same.

I realise that it must be tough to push the faaa line but how about showing some originality guys, it can’t be that difficult can it???

Lower Nob, Lower Nob, Lower Nob!

The same old lines over and over again. I must be an FAAA official, he must be an FAAA official, I mean she’s gota be an FAAA official, I mean the whole world must be an FAAA official. Hilarious! What was that word, originality was it!! Dear, dear me Lower Nob, you regurgitate the same old rubbish day in and day out. I hate the FAAA, I hate Qantas, I hate life. Let me guess, it’s a life long case of performance anxiety? Yes!
That’s it isn’t it! Never mind old boy. Hey maybe some anger management classes may help! You never know!

Wake up call for FAAA

Darth has written a letter to all mainline QF tech crew telling them of the need to cut costs. This has happened after only one week since the J* tech crew agreed to the new EBA/pay deal for J* international.

Observers thought that it would be months before Darth hit the techies but he basically could not wait.

If you are wondering about some of the pay scales ,it is amazing .Basically a L/H CSM with allowances added will be earning the same as a F/O and a cruise F/O will only be getting around $45000 a year.Compare this to what current QF tech crew get and you will understand the impact this is going to have.

So with this win what do you think they will want to pay cabin crew?

This will have a flow on effect to just about everyone else employed by QF.Darth will be asking why he has to pay cabin crew their current wages when he only has to pay a cruise F/O $ 45000 per year and that is with no overtime and a number of other things that current tech crew get gratis.

Does the L/H faaa think that perhaps now would be a good time to hold meetings or are we going to wait until Darth calls the girls into his office with an offer they can’t refuse?

Wake up girls this is getting serious………

RED ALERT RED ALERT

Jet* EBA the beginning of the end for Pilots

I asked the other day if anyone had any news of Jet* EBA.
I found it all on PPRUNE under D & G Reporting Points.
The pilots are literallly feasting on each other.

Whilst some may get some satisfaction from this( I dont) due to their own personal experiences and their perceptions of the mainling pilot group, It is certainly sobering reading. One must also consider the ramifications it may or may not have on us.

In a nutshell Capts on 787 approx $160k, F/Os approx $90 - 100K, relief pilots(S/O no longer exists) $45k. Also they will have to pay to be endorsed on another type of aircraft. Currently QF pays for it. This could cost up to $100k so Im told.

The times they are a changin.Well worth a look.Very concerning stuff!
