How many kgs can you take with yourself? Don't they pay for your luggages? I remember they've said they do. It's just that you are limited to a certain weight. But as far as I remember it's quite a heavy weight!

hey dont worry bout your condition.. its not as bad as it seems.. scoliosis is only mild, kyphosis.. just need to straighten your back as you walk you are only 20 so it shouldnt be too much of a prob.. and muscle robustness.. a bit of streching everyday to get rid of it.. nothing too complicated right? good luck

Oh really?? To be honest with you when my coordinater phoned me this morning i was sleeping and for coincidence I saw my phone flashing, so i wasn't prepared it was a completly disaster...I didn't listened almost nothing of my HR said

you are sooo lucky!! im still hanging, waiting for an e-mail or a call.. im like a zombie.. i think that im stuck onto pprune.. haha.. i havent recieved any e-mails from them yet.. so im really hoping that i have no tests to redo.. still praying and hoping for a positive e-mail soon..

we cant pack everything in 20.....
ok so the luggage goes like this. if youre lucky and youre going from a city that is QA network related (unlike my case) then you can take 100kg extra with you (that means the basic 20kg plus the 100kg)
if you go from a town that is not QA network related, then you will be entitled to send 50kg though air cargo (which i still couldnt figure out how it works)
mariana, tell me if you get your email of visa, what they say, they will tell you there for sure. oh and.. how to recognise me... im.. hungarian XD surely will be the only one. pretty average looking though, very short too
so just look around the girls and if you see a shortie brunette with a bun.. spreading the info that she is from hungary... thats meh!

just like mariana I ALSO GOT CLEARED TODAY HAAPPPYY! I got a call and was given the option to either fly on Sept.26 or Oct.3. I chose Oct.3 because I am still employed and I have tons of things to settle with my life. I AM SOOO HAPPYY! Yesterday I was feeling a bit down because most of my friends got cleared already and I haven't got any news for myself, but I held on to my faith that I will make it, AND I DID! I am sooo happyyyy! Hey chatnoir, why don't you try writing them directly? I think it would be the best option to make sure about your status. Imagine they just mistaked your email address or something...

Hi,
i just wanna know who got cleared for Oct 3. I might have their numbers and I'm thinking that I'll phone them just to make sure of the details about the flight and if I'm one of them.
I already got a call from the HR and they already made me choose which date I want to fly. I already chose Oct 3 but I'm still having problems with my impacted tooth. Am I considered cleared already?
How will I get the other details that I need for the flight to Doha?

In the application form I wrote 3 weeks. I had my FI 17th august and I had one week to do the medicals starting from the day I received the email to proceed it. As I exceed 2 days and I already knew that would be impossible to send it within a week I informed my HR about this thanking in advance for waiting. Good luck for you

I got my email visa...is simple but i don't understand the date of expiry as it says 13/10/2010 when the duration of residence says 2 years :S I have a doubt: which is considered the date of joining? I mean...is the 26th September when I fly, or the date of joining starts since we received the email?or the date of join is when we sign and send the offer of employment???cuz at the end of the offer employment they ask to indicate our date of join...and where should we write this??we have no fields to do it :S Thank you so much girl*

and dont worry about the visa, im sure they will take care of everything

now i feel like our group is getting smaller.. most of you guys have obtained your DOJ and are getting ready to fly.. i really hope that im going to get my DOJ soon and be able to meet up with you guys
and yeah usagi, 20 kilos is a lot!! :P i think that i can pack all my stuff and 20 will be more than enough.. just a need a few clothes, razor blade, deodorant.. huh thats bout it.. right? oh yeah and my guitar too.. hehe.. i hope that i can bring it there.. when you say they give a limit of 100kilos its like you can bring your wardrobe, mirrors, sofas.. basically everything that you own.. haha..

It seems we're gonna pass halloween at home, or even Christmas
By the way, the occassion of Eid must be the fest of Sacrifice, kind of the End of Muslim's Ramadan, isn't it?
