I guess all the guys cleared now are scheduled to leave in the end of november (28th) Guess the previous male batch is full.

One question to those who are being cleared last days: Have you recieved a phone call or just an e-mail? And was it recieved during Doha office times (8:00-15:00)? I even get up earlier these days, just in case they call me early in the morning and I'm sleeping... would be embarrasing if they'd notice...

... and Last but not least:
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU WHO FINALLY ARE ON THE WAY TO DOH!!

Hi!
I didn't receive any phone calls from Doha. Both confirming medicals and also DOJ were sent by email. And both emails were in the same day, between 10.00 am and 15.00 pm Doha's hour.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!

Hi guys,

How long does it usually take to receive confirmation from QR that they received your email?

I resent the email I sent last Sept 22 on Oct 6 Tuesday. Wondering if it's ok to email again today to ask if they received it?

How long after I send my email should I email them again to inquire if they have received the email?

This coordination thing is so tricky. Wouldn't want to offend and seem demanding.

Thanks

Hello!!!

I received an email today saying that I can choose between 17 and 24th of October. I chose the 17th! It would be nice to go as quickly as possible.

I usually got the confirmation letters very soon. On the same day I've sent my letters. It probably depends on the HR coordinator. Yours might be dealing with more people. But it's no problem if you write them. They are nice ... and their job is to keep you informed. A girl I know wrote them because she didn't get any confirmation for her medicals and than she received an email saying that the reports are still at the doctors. So don't worry!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you all!!!

Hi!

I think that if you have the chance to go, you should go. You can never know. Especially that you have spent such a long time in customer service. At our OD there were girls in their 30's also and they made it trough. It depends on the person. Especially if you say that you look younger than you should definitely give it a try. You have nothing to loose by trying.

Good luck!!!

And my question is still standing .... is anyone leaving on the 16th of October?

goodluck everyone hope to find you all in Doha. may the force be with us.

hello everyone !
Congratulations for those who are already going to Doha, good luck!!!
I did my final interview in london on 23th september, and I am still waitting for the e-mail saying yes or no. They said that it will come in 3 weeks, but a friend of mine how already works in Qatar Airways told me that usualy the e-mail for the selected people comes in 10 days, I would like to know in how many days did the e-mail came to the selected ones, and if there are other open days in the same country after yours, in a close date, if it would take more time for the answer to come, thanks for the attention

Hi Vanessa!

My OD was on the 24th of August and I received my confirmation on the 6th of September. You should probably write to them and ask them about the status of your application. I've heard that even if the answer is "no" they send you an email.

Good luck!!!

Hi guys

Is it true that with Qatar, after working with them 3-5 years, you will then have to leave the company? or is this just a rumour that I've read sumwhere...?

Congratulations for those who passed the medicals and received the DOJ! u guys must be thrilled!

God bless

I've never heard of anything like this. It's true they sign a 3 year contract, but after that you can still stay and extend it. It doesn't make sense to be kicked out after 3 years. Especially when you have to have experience to be able to work in business and first class. And I also remember that our recruiters said that they have been working for the company for 5 or 6 years. So I think it's just a rumor...
