my FI was a on the 11th of August.. i really dont know when im going to get an e-mail or a phone call.. well their holidays are over now.. lets just hope to hear something positive soon.. right? hold on tight, we are almost there

Hi everyone!
It's go to hear silvia air that they wrote to you. It means their offices started working again. For me it's been 2 weeks since I received the same email so I am patiently waiting.
As far as I've noticed, it seems that they held the OD in Rio, in Spain and in Romania approximately at the same time.
About the first roster - I've read a girls blog and after she finished her training she already had long flights. So you can never know.

It happened!!!
This morning, at 9 o'clock I received a call from my HR coordinator asking me if I still want to join QA. Of course my answer was YES!! And she gave me only one opportunity of a DOJ: 3rd of Octomber.
I insisted for another day, but she kindly suggested that is better if I take this date. So.....I'm very, very happy!
I'll still have my fingers crossed for you all!

Am new on this forum.. Am in the same basket as a couple of people here,.. I have done all my interviews with qatar airways.. All gone perfectly well.. Got my congrats mail & stuff.. But still waiting for my medical clearance.. Am so eager to get a reply.. As am really looking forward to work for them... Some new stuff.. see what i mean..

Hi tina! congratulations! I was also given the same DOJ but I think it will not push through because of the holiday. I still haven't received my contract yet and visa stamping here in the embassy takes 5 days. our local agency told us that we might be leaving by october 10. Goodluck to us. hope to see you in Doha.

First of all congratulations to all of those who received their DOJ!
And welcome to all who just joined us.
I have a question to all of you. What kind of vaccinations will you or did you have before leaving? On the general instructions paper they advise you on some. Which one will you do? I already had a Hep.B vaccine and I also had chicken-pox so I won't need those. Hep.A will be one vaccine but I'm thinking about the other ones.

hey bluesky.. well, i was actually thinking of not getting any vaccinations :P hehe.. i mean qatar seems to be a nice place, with high living standards and conditions therefore not too many probs right.. and i was also thinking that its better to get shots when you need them.. (so that'll it'll be paid by the company and not us) :P haha.. need to save up money :P
