any western Cabin Crew will not last here, most never even complete the training.. this is why most all the QA cabin crew are asian.. QA has no north american crew and as for south americans.. they manage to keep only less than 5% of those who come.. and europeans, nearly none

does that tell you something, unlike the other rival airlines in the area QA can only keep the best of what any 3rd world country has to offer.. the rest know better and are not feeding the entire families back home from their meager under paid salary.

Big mistake !

Well i worked for QR, and i could not take it, i resigned. Believe me if you go there you will regret it, try to go for another airline in the region, etihad or emirates. Think about it a lots, cause people don't stay in there even for training. The management is strict, you will have the worst days of your lives. That is my advice, but if you don't mind it's up to you. I have no friends left in there anymore because everybody resigned.

Take care !

Agree. They are a crappy airline when it comes to looking after their straff! Constant threats, reports, resignations, demotions, a lot of backstabbing... the list goes on and on!

Do yourself a favour and don't go!

When you go to DOH, you need to bring with you "satisfactory references" to them.

Have you or do you work for Qatar ? I'm waiting to hear back from them do they get back to you quite quickly coz they say 2-3 weeks
Re Ref:
Do they call any ref before they offer you the job ?
When they recieve them do they them call or follow them up ?
What sort of reference do they want just dates of employment etc coz most companies wont give anything out except that you worked there and thats it no comment on anything else?

Cheers for your help

Q.R

Hi Lads...I know after all your good advise!!! Trouble is that the airlines in the U.K are in such a sorry state at the moment and if you really want to start flying at the moment you simply have to go elsewhere. I'm in the pool for bmi but I could be waiting for months and months...B.A, Virgin ditto...life's too short....I'm giving it my best shot!! But thanks for everything!

Afrikaans?
Passenger many times on Qatar. Europe Doha(Premium route) and Doha on........
I will say this.....
The Mayalasian cabin crew behave as though they are terrified so say anything.
The female Arab (Qatar) cabin crews are the most nasty group of attendants ever found on any airline. The male crew and ground people are pretty okay. But all the women, in air or ground, behave like dictators - even if one is flying First Class!
This is not only me. I have seen other FC pax treated like camel dung.
Have totally nothing good to say about Qatar Arways except that sometimes schedule suits me and have to go with them.
There is much written in Prune about them.

QR is by far the most evil airline in the world!

Good luck to all of those in Europe who have successfully been recruited by them! Prepare yourself to make the largest mistake in your life!
