its the end of ramadan but its not the festival of sacrifice.. its a festival of joy after having spent a whole month dedicated to praying and abstaining from usual pleasures of life..

guess that we are reallllly unlucky so more to wait for.. grrrrr.. but yeah.. gotta cope with it thanks for the update iceania

but coming to think of it.. waiting more can be seen as some training.. testing our patience.. so that when we meet with really really annoying passengers at 30,000 feet we wont hit them with the serving tray in the face :P haha..

Eid al Adha, (عيد الأضحى), can be translated as celebration of Sacrifice, and its represented with the offering of an animal sacrifice. This is the beginning of Eid, and it's made on the first day after Ramadan.
So they make thousands of sacrifices in the halal way, according to religion rules, and then they eat and celebrate

sports and activities

You can go for yoga and pilates. And run in the morning from October till May. You can try parasailing. You can play golf. You can go bowling. You can play tennis and squash. You can play volleyball or football.

All the "usual" stuff. Obviously not much skiing or climbing. If you have money, you can do a lot of things.

Does anyone know, when we have a layover in our home country, are we allowed to pass the night at our home with our families? Or is it compulsory to sleep at the hotel that the company provides?
Or even if we fly to a city where we have friends or family, would we be able to pass the night at their homes? I guess the answer is no, in this case. I just wanted to make sure.

hehe, you are going to be suprised.. but the answer is "yes." If you have family or friends in the country that you are going for a layover you are allowed to stay over night their place.. well thats wat the recruiters told me when they came.. but then you have to take care of being on time for the flights and all that.. they arent that strict :P hehe..

well traveling to another country should be really tiring even if its close.. so i guess that they wont let you.. and on top of that, if you dont make the return on time because of watsoever reason.. then you might get into trouble.. right?

im really worried :S coz although the dentist filled all my teeth with cavities, now one of them slightly hurts when i chew hard things... so im going back today. but i wont have enough time left if he needs to do anything serious with it x.x
uh. ive sent 29kilos luggage to doha already. that was yesterday, my day was hell. i recommend all who are going from non-QA network city: TRY TO GET TO A QA CITY if theres one nearby!!!! because (at least in my country) the procedure to send air cargo is horrible and expensive!!!
well i also heard it was a piece of cake and cheaper from belgrade.. so maybe its only my country that sucks so bad haha. i had to do customs in a totally different city (and i have no car no driving license, thank HEAVENS my bro had some free time...) so i carried my 29kg there and had to do the same thing as truck drivers do (coz my father is one so i know), get some kind of custom number and wait for a lot of paperwork to be done. this was in the morning and they told me to come back in the afternoon. we went back, the lady was nice she finished my papers completely so i didnt have to stand in a queue for the stamp and stuff. (it was so embarassing when i had to make a list of whats in my bag -.- who cares about panties and bras!) and it cost me a lot lol! (at least in hungarian terms) 50 euros.
after that i called the cargo, and they said if we can make it till 4:30, we can go to the airport now (which is in another city, the capital of course haha, more than an hour away from where we were). so, since my bro had time only that day i was like LETS GO NAO! so we went at a speed of 160 in a hurry to the capital.. we went to some cargo centre and wasted 20 mins there by the time we figured that its the wrong cargo centre, we had to go to one nearby... duh. so we got to the right place by 4:35 -.- and the cashier was already gone, till closed. anyways, we could do the process, paperwork, bags wrapped up in foil not to fall apart... the only problem was that we had to go over to terminal 2A of the airport to pay... so we went over, paid 3 euros to park LOL that was the minimal fee which is ridiculous in my country... went in to pay (450 euros. FOR 29kg!), done in five mins, then back to the cargo ppl to show the invoice. great. everythings done. now the painful part is that the customs, handling and clearance wont be reimbursed by QA. I already told you the customs fee, handling was 40 euros (instead of the 20 euros JUST because we did the whole thing 'after 5 pm' according to the woman) and well i dont exactly know which part of it was clearance anymore.. so i got raped lol
was a painful and troublesome experience for me

awww, seems that you are having some hell of a time.. hehe.. running around here and there.. but yeah, thats all bout getting things done fast.. i mean i think that the teeth thing should be fine.. give it a few days..

and bout your cargo.. €50 for bra and panties!!! woa.. women are crazy.. well at least you are :P hehe.. anyways, im happy that all of your cargo stuff have been done.. and now you'll be able to travel lighter.. if i get medically cleared im not even sure i'll have to pack stuff and send it through cargo.. i think that my suitcase should be enough.. so as i know that you are bringing a whole bunch of stuff there.. and if im there.. i'll come knocking on your door asking for toothpaste and things like that.. hehe.. koz im sure that'll be forgeting small things like that.. continue enjoying the preparations for your flight usagi.. hope to you see there.. if i make it..
