Thanks for getting back to me so quick. Congratulations on the start date. I went to the RD on the Tuesday so hopefully I'm just a little bit further down the list

I just got an email from Jetstar inviting me to AD in Darwin. Now that I've got the email, I'm not so sure anymore. Should I fly all the way from Brisbane to Darwin for the day?

I did the St Johns First Aid Course. I think it was a 2 day course, mine was Workplace First Aid.

Great to see that we are now at 4 who are on ACTIVE HOLD for JQ AKL.
As for your First Aid Certificate, NZGirl is correct as I also went to get my certificate at st johns and the name of the course that is required by JQ NZ is the St Johns Workplace First Aid Course which lasts for 2 days.

Ilana182, I also got an email invite recently to the Darwin base. I am currently in Melb and am also wondering if worth flying over on Feb 16..

I am new to this site, I have also received an email for auckland ground school for jetstar,am also on active hold. Wow I know 4 other people who got this email also. 3 of us were at the wednesday 11 november recruitment day. Cant wait to start ground school etc... Just wondering does anyone from nz know if we have to wait for the RSA CD to arrive before completing the Liqour licence!!

I ended up replying to the email saying that I couldn't make it, and they wrote one back to say thanks for letting them know. It would have cost me over $400 and I would've needed to take 2 days off work. I'll wait until Brisbane has something available (hopefully).

hey raptor1, i recieved a email today sayin in on active hold list for sydney cabin crew! they said there is a delay in ground school dates due to operational changes and when they have decided when the training starts they will be in touch and advise on medical and security checks! i emailed them last friday, so maybe if u havent heard anything u should send them a email??? best of luch anyway!!! im still not sure wether i have the position!!!
