Hi there.

Just thought I'd pass on some ground school info. A friend of mine got her job offer early last week for Sydney base.

Her ground school starts on the 8th of Feb. Was a bit of a pain because she only had 3 weeks notice to give her current employer, instead of the usual 4 weeks, but otherwise she is thrilled.

Hang in there any one else who is waiting! No news is good news!

Wow, that is great news HB! Unfortunately for me no news is not good news. I need to know where I stand after 6 long weeks of no communication.

Does one continue to sit an wait or take up an offer at university?!

I wish there was some way of getting in contact with someone.

All we can do is wait..
How long do you have until you need to decide about Uni?

Well, I just accepted my offer and I have to go to campus tomorrow for the information session. I can always defer up to three weeks in, but my friends are telling me it is the safest option right now.

Did you have enough time to give notice to your current employer? What about medicals etc??

I'm starting GS 22/2 - the other gs starts 1/3 (i couldn't wait that long). Having medical next Wednesday - when do you come to Sydney?

congratulations everyone! im so happy for everyone who finally got the call! ill be starting GS on feb 8th as well in sydney so let me know if anyone wants to meet up! at this stage i think im going to fly up on the 6th or 7th

I'm still on active hold for GS MEL, hoping to hear soon! It's all I can think about. Anyone else here still on active hold for MEL? aaahhhh

I got the email on the 11th which I think was when majority of others got it as well...looking at this forum. I so hope I get the call soon! I wonder if there are more GS dates already planned for MEL cos the 8th is fairly close....
which AD were you at MEL?
