No, despite that length. The highest bomber number was 32, although that did not dominate the field.

Might it be WW2 era when built ?
|
Yes, right at the end.
|
B-36 Peacemaker.....
|
Fort Worth joint base ?
edit - err no. |
Not Fort Worth, and 32 was the highest bomber number Sycamore. Even then, the 32 number was a mere 10 per cent of other bomber numbers. Take another look at my registration, it will lead to the Interweb. Perhaps a little help from your friends?

Spence Air Base Georgia ?
|
Not Georgia.
|
Walnut Ridge ?
|
Spot on. WW2 junkyard, that is how I found it. B32 Dominator, late entrant. Many years ago the four members of a popular beat combo from England landed here in their travels, and Walnut Ridge continues to hold a Beatles festival each year, John, Paul, George, and Ringo, providing another entree to the field.
All yours. |

Looks like another S pacific hell-hole - maybe in PNG?
|

Coming up.....
Built by the Australians and captured by the Japanese in 1942. The aeroplane is Japanese. More clues if required. |
Vunakanau on East New Britain? OH if correct.

It is indeed Vunakanau chimbu.
Bad luck Asturias. chimbu has called OH. |
