A Belvedere with underwing pylons...….???

dook 9th Nov 2018 19:17

Maybe the Pacific.

evansb 9th Nov 2018 19:18

Guessing the aircraft flown was a Britten-Norman Defender, which was the military variant of the BN-2 Islander. Also guessing the locale may be south of the Equator...?

dook 9th Nov 2018 19:26

I'm also wondering if it was an aircraft working from the Philippines (not the airfield answer)

dook 9th Nov 2018 19:41

You may have missed my suggestion of the Pacific.

dook 9th Nov 2018 19:46

nvubu 9th Nov 2018 21:49

It is a Pup.

I have a side-on image of the same aircraft a couple of days earlier, and it has a gun, although in this photo it appears to have been removed.

chevvron 9th Nov 2018 21:49
