I prefer to call it OMFJ. The final clue was to be this, taken on last Thursday:

Thanks CGB
I am off to bed after posting this remarkable feat of Air control.
which you do normally not see in civil aviation.

It looks like Europe and a military airfield - so based on your civil aviation comment, how about a joint civil/military airfield?
Italy maybe, but many of their runways are NW/SE. So maybe further north in Europe.
By the way, as you have posted an image from Google, that could be the same aircraft. It looks like an A330 to me.

Looks very similar in configuration to Skrydstrup Air Base, Vojens, Denmark, but the runway numbers are wrong. I think the aircraft might be U.S.N. Boeing P-8s.

Not Italy
Skydstrup is much closer but still to far south.
I do not believe this is a P-8.
As international travel is only charter from here a 737 is more likely than a A330.
Indeed I think that the satellite travelled in the same direction as the aircraft taking off and snapped the plane twice.

Only the Danes would be so liberal. https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/smile.gif
Not only the Danes... similari signs in Eindhoven, though I don’t think the have a time limit!

This is airborne imagery, not satellite. GE uses both; as you zoom in, it switches from the latter to the former.

Looks like 1950's, Trans Canada Airlines so my best guess would be Montreal St-Hubert.

dook 8th Nov 2018 14:58

The other one......

dook 8th Nov 2018 15:50

I cannot believe that nobody has now nailed it.

kenparry 8th Nov 2018 16:02

dook 8th Nov 2018 16:04

dook;

OK, in response to your very gentle rebuke, I offer this

dook 8th Nov 2018 17:00

That wasn't a rebuke in any way whatsoever.

kenparry 8th Nov 2018 17:22

dook: OK; are you going to have a go?

dook 8th Nov 2018 17:45

Certainly. I'm looking.
