It's in a very secretive country.

Davidsoffice 16th Oct 2018 09:16

Close to China is Mongolia and a quick goggle shows they have a liking for blue roofs. Don't know where tho.

dook 16th Oct 2018 09:19

Mongolia is too far away.

The challenge is about 40 miles in a straight line from the Chinese border.

dook 16th Oct 2018 10:37

I am surprised that nobody has suggested a very secretive country near the Chinese border.

sycamore 16th Oct 2018 10:42

They`re all pretty secretive around China ,Dook !!

I presume that you are referring to North Korea. I have no knowledge of aerodromes in this country, but I would hazard a guess at Pyong Yang.

dook 16th Oct 2018 10:58

It is indeed in North Korea.

Try Google Earth and go about 70 miles NNW towards the Chinese border. The field is marked with the Google airport symbol.

Panghyon Airfield

dook 16th Oct 2018 12:44

That will do nicely.

Your departure clearance.

nvubu 16th Oct 2018 13:26

Thank you - you did give the location away somewhat :ok:

For the next aerodrome, we are going back to a time when GE didn't exist.

Or should I say - What hangar?

Will provide more images later today.

I don't believe in making things too difficult or protracted.

Don't get the J. M. Barrie bit Jenks.

nvubu 16th Oct 2018 14:42

Nor do I Jenks, so I can't say yes, no - or even close :)

dook 16th Oct 2018 14:53

Peter Pan I suspect, and therefore hinting at Pan Am.

dook 16th Oct 2018 15:02

Thinking about it - USA ?

sycamore 16th Oct 2018 15:36

Not Panshanger.....???

sycamore 16th Oct 2018 16:29

J,,but the Q was `..who`s HANGER is this....coat, hat ,door...

nvubu 16th Oct 2018 16:35

You are putting too much thinking into the question :O
I'm not showing very much of the aerodrome here, hence the "What Hangar" - There is no clue in this that I can think of.

Not Panshanger - tis 5 minutes away from me, and all the hangars have gone from there now..
Not in the USA.

Another piccy in half an hour - when I get home.
