G'day Brian.

Looks very much like the Northrop X-21?

Lightning Mate 13th Jul 2012 22:31

G'day mate.

Any news on what caused the car fire?

evansb 13th Jul 2012 22:32

Correct:ok: The Northrop X-21 project was based on a Douglas B-66 airframe.
You have control.

Noyade 13th Jul 2012 22:47

Thanks Brian.

Think of a critter that according to Hollywood "can strip the flesh from a cow to the bone, in 30 minutes" and you will solve this, and my Cockpit Challenge. :)

Police/Firemen = Electrical fault.
Me = Today's troubled youth.

(What's with the gopher routine mate? One second you're there, and then you're gone. :))

Lightning Mate 13th Jul 2012 22:51

Just in case I forget to log off mate.

Is yours the Wassmer WA-81 ?

Noyade 13th Jul 2012 22:52

Wassmer WA-81
Done! :)

All yours.

(Also have it as the Issoire IA Pirahna - when Wassmer went under.)

The landing gear is identical to the Czech GP ONE. Any connection?

Lightning Mate 14th Jul 2012 16:14

Morning Bri - nice to see someone around.

No connection whatsoever - this one's German/Swiss, and now marketed in the USA.

evansb 14th Jul 2012 17:04

Is it the S-Wing ?

Lightning Mate 14th Jul 2012 19:42

Over to you.

evansb 14th Jul 2012 20:19

petrel

Ridge,
Just to let you know I am intimately familiar with the plane in your picture. I just finished working on a project were I designed a new plane based on the hull of the one in your picture. In fact we used that plane and pulled a mold directly from the hull. I designed a new fuselage, boom and tail to fit another wing the company already had. The plane in your picture is in fact a Petrel. It is stationed at a small airfield in Rayong Thailand. I think your picture is a few years old. Or it could be very recent after we finished with it. I have alot of pics for it but cannot figure out how to put one in this message. sorry.
