Afternoon Martin, the Dyakov monoplane?
|
Ah ha.... that's the one, Ken!!! You have Shavrov?
Skytrain10 has CONTROL |
You have Shavrov? Love to get hold of his books - even if they are in Russian! Not had a chance to prepare anything so will have to be Open House. |
Where can I find the image please?
|
Evening LM, try Googling the "Russian Aviation Museum".
Meanwhile, here's something quick for the open house: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i.../2012/36-1.jpg |

Is it a PTO-4?
Either that or a Miles Magister. |
Yes it is the Estonian PTO-4 (Voldemar Post, Richard Tooma and Otto Org)! :ok: Your control.
If the Russian aircraft museum didn't get you there, try googling this: Monoplane by G.A.Diakov |
Ah so Glasshopper - that got me there. :ok:
Sorry - missed the fact that I have control. |
|
Looks like the DOWA 81. But haven't we had it before?
Edit, closing down now, so assuming correct, Open House |

'Artnoon Martin.
It appears to be unmanned. Does it really have four wheels or is it some kind of launch dolly? |
Hi David. It flies with the u/c attached! :)
Edit: yes, un-manned |
Looking at the upswept tail booms and it's attitude, I imagine it's designed as a rough terrain STOL.
|
Unless, of course, it's the Freewing Unmanned Systems LLC Scorpion.
|
That's the one, David
You have CONTROL |
Thanks Martin.
I'm going home in fifteen minutes and will check in again from there. http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...g_29/quick.jpg |
