Something wrong with me if I didn't get that one. Does this mean I have to go back through 50+ pages to figure out what hasn't been done yet?

Cheers

You have firsthand experience of this?

Only if you want to... I think some unintentional duplication may well begun. Go for whatever you have!

PPRuNe Pop,that would be the three-engined version that never made it into production. ;)

Note to self: engage brain before hitting post button. :O

My experience is limited to this
and this
Sadly I've never flown in one though. (Listening Mr Lowy?)

I've just come to realise that despite having thousands of photos of aeroplanes I have rarely photographed cockpits. I'll search for something but in the meantime I will happily forfeit if another reader has something ready to go.

Seasons greetings to all.

You and me both.

It's got two seats in the cabin...

Well, here's another one to be getting on with then:

LOMCEVAK 24th Dec 2005 10:43

Grumman Tigercat, perhaps?

JDK 24th Dec 2005 12:10

That's IT! I quit!

It's a dead parrot. Grrr.

Yes, Grumman Tigercat. (Well done Lom.)

Now someone really has to find another pic!

Please?

Mig-21 Lancer ?

No clue on the honours question.

jabberwok 25th Dec 2005 01:38

Is the honours one Thrust 2?

Saab Dastard 25th Dec 2005 09:18

Cringe & Jabberwok are correct!

Sorry about the 2nd one not being an aeroplane, but the thread is "what cockpit" ;) And it is Supersonic and does have 2 jet engines and the "pilot" is in the RAF.

At least it fooled Ms. Cringe! My year is complete! :ok:

cringe 25th Dec 2005 09:41

LOL, you're easy to please.

Jabberwok's turn, since he got the tougher one correct.

jabberwok 26th Dec 2005 01:08

A bit unfair for me to hold the reins as I've sat in the brute. Insider knowledge and all that.

I'll pass and make it open house - but excuse me if I add a little humour to the thread..

While you're trying to figure this one out take a look at a T.C. Kenny's MUST SEE WW-II aircraft site - posted by cringe on Shrage Musik.
