Mine is not an Messerschmitt Me163 Komet.
Having discounted the ME262, HE162 then I'm guessing it's one of the Horten tailless designs?

Argonautical 2nd Dec 2005 12:05

Correct 628al. It is a Horton Ho229.

MReyn24050 2nd Dec 2005 12:38

Incorrect 682al the following shows this cockpit as the Dornier 335

MReyn24050,

I think there's some confusion creeping in.

My call of Do335 was in response to Apple Macster's photo.

Your link led me to the very same photo of the 335 cockpit.

That double horned control grip is quite distinctive.

MReyn24050 2nd Dec 2005 13:28

628al

I apologise. Aeronautical threw me by his statment " Correct 628al. It is a Horton Ho229."
Having retraced the thread as you rightly say you did identify the aircraft correctly. Please forgive me. Its been a long day.

682al 2nd Dec 2005 14:44

How about a slight variation on the theme?

Control wheel. Handley Page, either Hampden or Halifax...

682al 2nd Dec 2005 22:48

..on the right lines cringe.

cringe 2nd Dec 2005 23:33

How about Avro Manchester?

682al 2nd Dec 2005 23:37

BEagle 3rd Dec 2005 06:12

MReyn24050 3rd Dec 2005 06:44

ORAC 3rd Dec 2005 06:46
