That's LGW looking from the North Park just showing the ramp up to the (now South) terminal behind the Rapide. Hey there's old Jim & Ginge's truck as well

Absolutely!!! More interesting for me in the U-6 behind the Rapide. Those were the days, eh? I'm probably there somewhere in my shorts!

Open house, nil to post. Interesting shot as you can see the north finger which was only a couple of years old when I started, my office was in the north finger and you can just make out the old Landings office as well, great days

Yep, its like another world.. Compare it with what we have now! We used to spend many afternoons/evening there just watching the comings and goings of the Daks, Vikings, Connies, etc.... oh dear... I've become all emotional!!!.....

Correct stevfire2! A view of what was the runway of this WW2 'crash' strip. It was 9000' long and 700' wide. Similar purpose to Manston. Stevfire2 has control.
