Actually, having receied Kastrup's history, it was more advanced at this stage in its life.... By 1939 it had three runways and a new terminal. I can't find any pics of it though!

Kastrup it is. Around 1926. Here are two more pictures from the same set of contemporary images from Danish carrier DDL , showing one of their Fokker F.Vii 's plus another of KLM.
On the original of the air-view you can make out the name Rohrbach on the hangar, identifying use by this German manufacturer-in-exile.
That one seemed to justify the title "challenge"
Congratulations Skytrain10 and Ridge Runner - something of a team effort maybe but Sktrain10 was first and gets control

Now you have learnt how to post pictures, as a next step why don't you try to find out how to resize them to the recommended 800 x 600 so that they can be viewed a little more comfortably?

Well done Skytrain10! I guess its fairly unique alongside the Beagle Channel. Approach and departure are very interesting there!!!! We went in by MD80 and out by 737-200, both of which use most ofthe runway length. Appaent the old airport, which was on the area close to the town in this image, suffered an overun by a 737 at one time!
Over to you....

Thanks RidgeRunner...we actually put a 747 in there some years ago. Sadly I did not have the opportunity to travel on it. Stunning location though.
And talking of which, lets see how long this one lasts:
