Well, it's certainly twin-engined and looks rather under-finned, somewhat like some Republic experiments were.

Mind you, it's difficult to tell from such an acute angle.

it's certainly twin-engined
Five lift jets at the front plus two at the back that could "swivel" for forward propulsion.
It was the next step from an another VTOL fighter that had flown.

My silhouette is a proposed German VTOL fighter project which was to be developed from a VTOL research jet that first flew in 1963.
