I think it should be listed as the CMASA CS.15.

Hi Doug,

My first thought is T-28C(viz the tail-hook) but something tells me you might be more sneaky?

Unhappy

Methinks the Trojan didn't have trailing edge wing root fairings....

Is it by any chance the French modified version the 28S "Fennec"?

...and check out the main gear position and door shape on the 28.

Also no slight sweepback of the wing leading edges.

Was there a predecessor to the Trojan? I'm struggling to find a prototype. I see that the XT-28 was a tricycle-gear machine. How about those natty Chinese? Did they ever copy the T-28? Just a thought. RR.. off out now... good luck!!! Hasta la vista...

Not from outside North America.............
OK maybe the clue was a bit blatent after the earlier speculation on T-28 ancestors. The North American XSN2J-1 from 1946 to a USN specification for a SNJ=T-6=Harvard replacement. Fairchild offered the XNQ-1 to the same spec. Requirement was withdrawn but the USAF came up with the same need in 1948 resulting in the T-28.

North American XSN2J-1

Skytrain10 - all yours.

Thanks Doug...interesting one. There are so many T-28 look-a-likes that its closest relative almost got overlooked!

Anyway here is another with several look-a-likes!
