Janes 1938 has a front view which is a dead ringer , except the engine is cowled and a Bristol Pegasus - the Anbo 41 from Lithuania. Maybe the earlier Walter powered Anbo II or V ????????? If pressed I'd guess a V .........Doug

Doug, I see what you mean about the similarity. Unfortunately not an Anbo (or Lithuanian) product, nor a Walter engine. Right sort of era though, albeit the Anbo is a little older than this design.

I have returned and I see all is quiet...therefore time for Clue 2:
This aircraft originates from an eastern European country and first flew during the mid 1930's.

As there is no progress on this, one more clue...if this doesn't work then I'll name the country and then see who gets it first!
Clue 3...the engine was a Siemens Halske Sh-13.

Well done Lightning Mate, it is indeed the Onciul RO-2 from Romania. Built in 1936 at the ICAR (now IAR) facility, it was intended as a training aircraft but in the end only one was built.
Over to you Lightning Mate....

Can't see your image LM
FFA N.20-10 Aiguillon?
I wonder how long this one will last.......
Well done skytrain.
Sorry, I must have missed the fact that it has been listed before - I don't remember it being on Mels' lists.
I have it annotated as EFW N-20 Aguillon.
Over to you again skytrain, and check PMs.

Noyade,
FFA stands for: Flug- und Fahrzeugwerke Altenrhein.
Altenrhein is near where the river Rhine (Rhein) flows into Lake Constance.
Birthplace of the FFA P-16 ground attack fighter, the wing of which was later adopted for the first Learjets.
