I have a GiggleEarth overlay that puts a pin on every airfield that has an IATA code. Don't tell it to them.

But I got the aerodrome all wrong

Well it's not a silhouette Reg. I was going to put it in "What Cockpit?" but again, I thought better of it...

From memory (I scanned it ages ago) the guy on the far left is Mr Sikorsky who one day decided the Board members should go for a ride and check out one of their products.

Was looking at flying cranes, but so far did not find a matching gear. My search was hampered by the notion of a person in a three-piece suit and a tie, bringing my thoughts to British test pilots of the time…..

Maybe Sikorsky S-64?

It is a flying crane...Sikorsky. They 'simply' improvised the seating frame under the fuselage.
