Morning all.

Ton, it bears a striking resemblance to something I found yesterday. Trouble is I can't find a name for it! There is reference in 1991 Flight to a "Yugoslav Jet Like Trainer". 1991 | 1738 | Flight Archive
There are some differences, particularly the prop shroud design, but otherwise it looks pretty close?

My connection at home this morning is hopeless, dropping out every few minutes. I'm off to work in a few moments and will have another go at breaktime on a better connection.

In the meantime, I don't see anywhere for the nose-gear to stow and the mainwheels look like it could be fixed?

COIN or LARA type, can't see any weapons or hardpoints in this view?

Edited to say Thanks Martin and I hope you're happy with us carrying on!

I think that looks like a pretty good call Ken, now I've at last stayed connected long enough to download the link!! Off to work now catchya later.

Skytrain, you've got it!

You have control.

Ton.

Edit: It was never more than a design that needed funding for further development.
But since the funding never came through, it was never built.

Thanks Ton...did it have a name? I'm presuming it would have been an UTVA model?

Stand-by for the next one.

Now then. What are we having here?

- A low wing and relatively high/tall cabin, or
- A high wing

The shadow speaks for the former, unless there is a cabin / wing additive effect to the side view.

Good afternoon Gents, evening Graeme,

Just grabbing some lunch and a quick look-in; my initial reaction, going from the apparent slope of the nose, was that it was an Agrcultural aircraft with tandem seating for two.

I haven't found a match yet, but you're right Reg, it could be a high-wing cabin type and some of the high cockpit could be wing!

Have looked through the obvious agricultural ones but are there so many tandems?

Afternoon all

Answers:
- homebuild...no
- 1960's....yes
- low wing (so yes, a relatively high cabin)
- and yes, it was adapted from an agricultural aircraft

Working in the garden so will check in periodically

Yet another PZL Kruk derivative?

Or something like CallAir B-1 (the LG looks like it, if you would put another seat IN FRONT of the pilot seat of A-9).

Just entertaining myself…..

Excellent call Reg. It is actually based on the A-9. Now you just need to tell me what it is!

I thought that Reg had got it 'coz another page appeared but I couldn't go to it (deleted post I suppose)

The A9B-M “Naco” ??

I'm back to work now, then off home to a dodgy connection, so Open House please if correct. I hope to see you later this evening and tomorrow if I can get the damp string to conduct!!

Cheers TC

Looked at Quail Commander before I went to take a shower, and it was still a one-seater, so it must then be AAMSA A9-BM Quail, as TC says…..

I think I edited my last, but was commanded to shower, so if I lost this one, I'll sulk to Memsahib.

PS: Or maybe Aero Sparrow Commander, who cares .

The M will not let go my ear, so I'll go to the park for a walk. Will be back an an hour or two. So long folks.

Well done Sinco, it is the AAMSA A9B-M Naco from Mexico. Modified from the CallAir A9, it was aimed as a low cost trainer for the Mexican Air Force. Obviously they were not too enthusiastic as only 1 aircraft was built!

SincoTC has declared Open House. I think as RegDep got as far as CallAir that, in Sinco's absence, he should have control.

An important message for Graeme:

That applies to you mate, not the aeroplane......................
