Thanks LM,

This one will have to do as it comes, no time to tweak it and it would be very difficult to interpret fully blacked! Better than an OH though I guess!

Back to work now, will leave light on and monitor when possible!

That was short and sweet mate! Your Service

Good tweak on the Lincoln, I'm surprised that you didn't put an "Abe" style beard on it, and that's not a dare!!

Going home soon and I expect you to have got this one soon.

You're home sooner than I expected! I gotta go in ten minutes as the road closes at six-thirty and I want to avoid the long diversion.

Here's another hurried one, but metinks it's time to use a different source

Good idea mate - I was on to you and you were on to me.

Not everyone knows though.....................

Whilst I'm here, I will say I have seen this before somewhere, and it smells French.

Er....wrog!

The engine looks similar to a JAP J99.

Aspect ratio says motor glider.

Evening!

as the road closes at six-thirty
Why does that happen?

Another easy one Mel.
What was the connection between "stupid" and the Gyro?

Stig, is yours British?

G'day Graeme,

They're re-surfacing the road, it's quite busy during the day and there is no easy alternative route, only very narrow and hilly roads over open Moorland, so they do the work at night! It happens a lot round these parts!

My challenge is not from an english speaking nation!

BTW, You can ask him again when he gets back, but I don't believe there's any connection between the name and the image in LM's challenges, just pure whimsy!

88 years! (1923)

For some reason, it also carried the name of a Roman Emperor who died nearly 1200 years ago, but this name is in the language of the country!

It is German and also named after a King of the Franks, who was the same guy as the Emperor!

Trevor, you are a very clever man.
I on the other hand am a Neanderthal; I even have more hair on my back than my head. I have difficulty typing as my fingers are excessively large.

I do not 'get' any of the clues provided by you, David or Reg.

Sad but true.
