New 'Bonza' LCC launches middle 2022 with B737 MAX
How is simply stating a fact, "Bonza bashing"?
Ok so Micky
Which of the 4 scenarios would give you greater pleasure
1) Continued delays in attaining an AOC sees 777 Partners pull the plug on Bonza prior to first flight
2) Bonza gets up and running, fails to sell enough seats to be viable and shuts up shop, moving assets to Canada
3) Bonza gets up and running, fails to sell enough seats to be viable, pulls out of MCY and has a crack on the Triangle
4) Bonza gets up and running, gets 90% loads across their network and expands and opens up new point to point routes

Purporting to be from the Sunshine Coast, one would have assumed that you would have been more pro Bonza
As for your answer, have you ever considered a career in politics ?

2. Bonza's own doing

...er are you seriously having a crack at people for not being pro some wackjob business plan? Because someone lives locally to the wackjob business plan, they need to start showing some love?
And I don't post on here to be quizzed on hypotheticals.
And here's Poppa right on que
Not sure about Micky, but I live on the Sunny Coast
I for one want Bonza up and running
Not sure, like others, if they will get the numbers from their all the regional city pairs they are launching, however, there is a good chance some will work, especially if they come in at the $50 per hour they initially quoted
Bonza would be awesome for connecting Sunny Coast locals that have relocated here from other regions with direct flights along with tourists
Additionally using MCY as a small hub to connect southern regionals with points further north eg. Mildura and Townsville 1 stop
Not all destination will work, but another airline like Pelican or REX may see reasonable numbers for their smaller birds and hermit crab onto vacated routes, though they may not be able to match Bonza's pricing
It has always amazed me why MCY and OOL have no direct flights from larger NSW and QLD regional ports
Pelican had a go from NTL to MCY but only managed 3 per week seasonal, where as JQ runs daily to the OOL with decent numbers
3-4 weekly NTL - MCY should be viable for Bonza at their price point
They should really have a crack at CBR as well, QF can't seem to make it work

I don't purport to be from the Sunshine Coast, I live on the Sunshine Coast and that is accurately reflected in my profile. That's how I knew that Shazza had been moved; I routinely drive along David Low Way past the airport.

Can't seem to remember anything positive that you have posted.....
So being from the Sunny Coast, would you not agree that
Bonza would be good for
Tourism
Local expats from regional areas connecting with family and friends
Our growing airport
Local aviation jobs
Separately, I note that you continue to manifest the quirks that had others suspecting that you are just another incarnation of BNEA320, getaway, TT738, Kickstarter, ...
Perhaps you can toddle off and troll someone else.

I say high cost because they are bringing in new machinery, frames, whatever you want to call it, its new, and comes with new costs and what looks like very low utilisation. Maybe 777 partners have very deep pockets and an ulterior motive that's not just making money, then we wish them all the best.

As I said previously, I deal with facts and figures. If there have been no positive facts or figures for Bonza, that's hardly a matter for me.

For starters I am not any of those that you have mentioned, nor do I have any other user name
I have always been for a larger aviation industry with more competition and more jobs
Totally against QF/JQ under their current model, not the people that work there
Pro REX and Bonza along with any other start up that has a go and threatens the monopoly of QF/JQ or duopoly when you include VA
If QF/JQ had their way they would own 100% of the market, which is good for no one
Even as it stands they don't really compete with VA, they collude to cut services to improve loads and use JQ to stave off any LCC from getting a foothold
This keeps fares high, reduces overall numbers, hurts our tourist industry and reduces aviation jobs
There ya go, I am hiding nothing
How about you ?
Here ya go Micky

No use having a “larger aviation industry” that is sitting idle earning nothing.
You really do suck at thinking about the basics of market economy don’t you

As others have said, just because the truth is negative, it doesn’t mean it can’t be reported on.

I remember once long ago an accountant entering our club and looking at the hire rates, he was like 'wow, I might buy one of these Cessna, looks like a licence to print money'. I sat him down while over a coffee went through the hourly and annual operating costs. His face was ashen by the end and he quietly asked 'why in gods name would anyone own an airplane or have anything to do with this industry, it seems like some sort of sadistic torture that wastes your wealth'. Man wasn't meant to fly, money makes it happen.
To this day there are many businessmen who have no idea how much aircraft cost to operate until they are balls deep in debt trying to find some magic way to turn a profit. It even amazes me how few pilots are even aware of the cost of operation of an aircraft, other than an hourly rate.

A long time ago I worked for a European airline that thought it would be a good idea to wade into the rapidly expanding night charter market flying football hooligans to Majorca and other unsuspecting Mediterranean holiday spots. We actually flew some of those flights for 50p profit per seat.
Then someone hit a bird, and suddenly we had to fill 1.1 million seats to pay for the damage.
You need to charge a shitload for seats, because the costs are anywhere from 96% to 105% of a shitload.

Pretty sure you give a toss what I think / post as you constantly reply to my posts
When you think you can pose a valid argument you do reply
I take note also that when you are challenged on a point you don't include a reply to that point or simply state something along the lines of "As I said previously, I deal with facts and figures"
Why do you shy away from telling people what you really think, after all, this is a rumours network, not a facts network
Pretty obvious you have it in for REX and Bonza why?

What is the problem with people having it in for Rex and Bonza? You will find half the Rex employees have it in for them too, and Bonza, well AOC less and continued lies around start dates, I mean criticism is well and truly warranted.
