Australian pilots can work for US regionals.
Hello Havick,
I am aware they dont take E3 and I am also aware that the bonus is pro rata. The point I was trying to make is that one poster seemed to imply that Envoy had a large no strings attached sign on bonus which isnt true

I have no affiliation with Aero Crew Solutions so am not interested in defending them. But in the interest of accuracy, and from my observations, they are legit and do not function as a Rishworth-style "agency".
Since the application to TSA is apparently made directly to TSA, their affiliation with Aero Crew is apparently some kind of business arrangement not impacting the well being of E3 applicants.
Come on up here and get yourself a job !!

Never said you were affiliated with them, it's just very easy to slap on a nice coat of paint and call yourself a business. people can easily get fooled into thinking this is a legitimate business instead of a pilot/pilots making a quick buck out of the bonuses, they aren't just doing this out of the goodness of their own hearts, they are there to make money. Is this the way the referral system is meant to be used? Very questionable.
Send me a PM mate, I am interested in the states for sure!

FYI...ExpressJet Airlines recruiting Aussies.
This from a fellow E3 in the US Regional Headhunting forum:
"Hey guys. Im on here trying to grab a few pilots to join our team at Expressjet. Im sure you have read all the great things going on at XJT. I can promise there is more and better to come... Soon.. Im a current employee of 3 years... Started on the E3 myself... If you have any questions please pm me. I will also be in AU to meet some potential pilots, starting in Melbourne and Sydney. Having said that, I can only speak for my company... All regionals offering the E3 have their own requirements and processes. Regardless of which regional you choose, The regional world is evolving, these opportunities arent forever so make the most of it and choose wisely. Our ad can now be found on AFAP. Look foward to speaking with some of you."

It appears some regionals are having training delays for new hires.
For those of you who've come here on an E3 to work for a regional, have you encountered lengthy training delays ? Did they significantly affect reaching your goal of getting to line flying ?
Did you perhaps choose a regional based on not having lengthy training schedule impediments ?

Interesting, I was wondering also if it is a a regional wide issue at the moment. I know where I am it's about a 6-7 month backlog at the moment and supposedly increasing. I have heard of other companies (who are not E3 providers) that are sitting up towards 12 months plus right now.
Hope its not delaying anyone too significantly!

Bafanguy,
Thanks for that info. For myself I just want to work/Live in the USA..... Are there other options than the regionals (since the delays). I gather it’s difficult to get a job with a major via an E3 and the cargo operators too....

It would appear to be a potential factor. And perhaps doubly so for those coming here on an E3 with the clock ticking down even though the E3 is renewable. Not sure how long the renewal will be the case. It would still slow progress toward the goal of getting here, getting through school and out to the line where the experience one comes for is gained.
Just a thought...

I'm not aware of any operator but regionals currently taking E3s. And admit to being a bit surprised at that given all the hoop-de-doo about the "shortage".
I would've expected the TP freight operators to be accepting them but see no evidence of that so far.
As for being able to flow from an AA wholly-owned to AA mainline on an E3, I'm not sure it has yet been tested in practice.
I don't see the Big 6 or 7 taking E3s...ever. Their problem is TOO MANY competitive applicants.
The ones that do join, a good percentage of them leave after getting the call to goto systems training many months down the road after Indoc.

Where are the 175's going to be based?
Im rated on 175 and CRJ 200/700/900. I actually did my CTP course down at Expressjet in 2015 in Houston. I would be keen to hear more about them from an insider.
