It is also not clear whether this refers only to Lufthansa mainline passengers or also includes their other brands/affiliates.
If it includes the latter (I.e. Swiss, Brussels, Eurowings, Germanwings, Austrian) 1 million passengers in the financial year might be about right?

If it's all the affiliates then the figure is actually very low.
Depending on the aircraft type used (A319/A320/A321), just FRA and MUC alone can offer around 2400 seats per day (based on 4xA321 and 3xA320), so, if the figure is 2750 per day for all affiliates, then it equates to quite low load factors.

Having a quick scan of the CAA data indicates it probably falls somewhere between the two.
It looks too high for just the FRA and MUC routes, but as you have noted, too low for the whole "basket" of LH affiliates.
They might have fancied an excuse for a promotion event and cherry picked to get the desired outcome. Obviously the airport would buy into a promotion involving Tokyo...

Yep, the Trump Slump warhead on the Brexocet missile has come at a particularly galling time just when MAN's US traffic is achieving a critical mass and we're building up some transfer market. We don't know yet how bad it will be, maybe not as much as we fear. Two steps forward and one back has oft been the way at MAN. That transfer traffic, although still small, may help us get through this sticky period if it's bringing in passengers who are not suffering the GBP vs USD effect. The key will also be getting the North American-originating market to see the UK as something beyond just the chocolate box London and Edinburgh caricatures, and to appreciate (as increasingly do European and Asian visitors) the authentically British appeal of the Northern cities and National Parks. With the exchange rate firmly in their favour (sorry, favor) they will be laughing along with the policeman outside Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Potentially a Poznan route from Ryanair tomorrow according to same source who told me about Kiev, but I'm not 100% sure on that given its a LPL route and Ryanair don't like to overlap on the 'smaller' routes.

Do t think it will be a swap as LPL-POZ is bookable this winter, although it does seem to be down from 3 weekly to 2 weekly next winter? Never say never for a side by side route I suppose?

With reference to earlier post concerning new Easy Jet flights.
Most of these have been in the timetable for some time, there do appear to have been a few recent additions.
According to my records, there will be 246 x weekly departures from late July when the new services commence, I reckon this is 29 x weekly up on the same period of last year if my records are accurate.
There are 9 x weekly additional services on the new routes (Dubrovnik, Granada, Krakow and Preveza) with impressive growth also seen on Hamburg (+6 x weekly) and Berlin (+5 x weekly)
The only reductions appear to be on routes to Antalya, Belfast and Malaga, and each of these is only 1 x weekly service down on last year.

Great news to see further expansion from Ryanair on some really interesting new routes and some consolidation on what is already great selection of routes from EasyJet. What has been great is that it hasn't been at a significant detriment to existing carriers like Jet2 or Monarch. Well done Manchester!
