which institutions have so indicated their intent? You muppet! Are you really trying to spin yesterdays announcement into so kind of victory for your side, you're becoming as desperate as O'Leary, just less entertaining.

Ah the personal abuse.

After the bid is announced Siptu will harp on about Union recognition and FR response is "Takeover panel says we can't give any guarnatees", same on LHR slots.

They have just removed 2 of the main objections that would have been put up and will just refer any questions back to Takeove panels announcement.

Yes you can ask me again.
Ok racedo, what is your connection with ryanair?
I'll tell you mine: I work for them. And I will tell you my concerns: I fear the future for my livelihood is highly uncertain under this management. And what is certain is that while destroying my terms and conditions, they have also managed to destroy my shareholder value in the company. In other words, they have done nothing right.

Answer the question if you want to have any credibility, which institutions have so indicated?

Nobody believed for a second that O'Leary would honor his "guarantees". This has just formalized the state of play.

I share Camel's opinion, O'Leary is leading FR on a commercially suicidal venture. He's spending resources FR can ill afford on whats looking increasingly like another failure. FR's CX is being reported as a liar, no a big liar. He's being shown to have made serious errors of judgment and the awaited company figures are reportedly dire. He's invested so much of his own credibility in this venture he can't or is incapable of backing down but whats unforgivable is he's showboating with other peoples money.

That is the real state of play although there are many more scenes in this second act.

I am quite happy to confirm that I am not employed by FR or work in any way with them or any of their agencies nor does any family member.

Where is the source from on the Birmingham Base? What routes would they operate, and would they go head to head with Mr O'Leary???

There was an interview with Colm Barrington recently, he talked about new bases and that an announcement would be made to the market in coming weeks. LGW was mentioned as a new base with transatlantic routes it sounded like that was one of a few airports that Mr Barrington mentioned.

...if you select the route and go onto the next stage of the booking process, there is a very clear message that the route is "flown by BA CityFlyer"

Very unlikely. Whatever about LHR-SNN, EI would be very unlikely to go directly head to head with Ryanair on LGW-SNN. Look how long it took for them for LGW-DUB to get established, and Dublin has a vastly superior catchment area to Shannon.
