So easyJet are flying to a new Greek island destination whose name escapes me as I have never heard of the place and Ryanair are pulling Szczecin.

LEC is open then! not an April Fool's. Must be something to do with the G20 flights arriving, there were hundreds of people finishing it off on my way home last night, then this morning, the cone monster had been! About time too!
The Spanish arrived this afternoon (Spanish AF A310), Turkey late afternoon (Turkish Government A318), and the French came in between with an A319 and a Falcon, which have gone off to park in Essex. Obviously, they understand which airport is most convenient for central London.....
... oh and the Ukraine tiddlywinks team arrived yesterday too.

Budget airline easyJet has revealed it is axing flights from London Luton Airport to Warsaw in Poland in a row over airport costs.
The company will stop its twice-daily flights from July 5, a spokesman said.
The decision comes after Warsaw Airport unilaterally imposed a doubling of charges last month. EasyJet said passengers will get a refund.

Easy have increased LTN-MAD to 3 x daily from the start of the winter timetable, with several other destinations showing increased freqs, when compared to W09. Unfortunately, VIE does not seem to feature. Maybe it has yet to be loaded into the system.

Rising customer demand has led to easyJet announcing a new route to the small Greek island of Frilo Palo.
Following a 13% increase in visits to Greece since July last year, easyJet is set to launch seven new Greek routes this summer – with new flights to Frilo Palo from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester.
The microscopic island has grown in popularity in recent years and this will be the first route to be introduced early this summer in time for summer holidaymakers.
easyJet UK general manager Paul Simmons said: “Greece has always been a favourite destination for British holidaymakers and interest is constantly growing. Before we commissioned our new routes, we asked our customers what they wanted and admittedly were a little surprised to see the relatively small island of Frilo Palo so high on their list. The original plan was to launch six new routes this summer but demand for Frilo Palo was so high that we had to expand our six new Greek routes to seven.
“The island is spectacular; it has a fantastic historical and cultural past together with great beaches, views and a serene environment. It’s the perfect summer hideaway - you’d be a fool not to go!”
Frilo Palo tourist board manager Stavros Nikolopoulos urged British travel agents to promote the destination. He explained: “Famous for spectacular scenery, dazzling sunsets and its dormant volcano, the islands feature a rich and varied landscape composed of traditional villages, ancient architecture and beautiful beaches."
Frilo Palo is set in the Cyclades island group within the South Aegean peripheries of Greece. The island is one of a small, circular archipelago of volcanic islands located in the southern Aegean sea, approximately 400km south-east from Greece’s mainland.
Was this an April Fool's joke?

G20
They all went where they were told to go.
Each Embassy was advised of which airports were available to them, but they can go where they want too.

True, but only because Luton couldn’t handle them so they had to make do with second best.

I think you will find STN was 1st Choice for all and vastly became full, although this was closely followed by LGW and LCY as they too had full capacity, unfortunately LTN was quite clearly last choice for all.
