Just what I took a couple of weeks ago.

I'm flying out on Tuesday to Carcassonne, so I will get some pics then.

I won't be able to post them until i get back at the weekend though!

Utterly amazed that Prestwick has gone though, given the state of that route just a little while ago. How hard can be to make it work?

Ryanair surely knew they were killing it and almost Edinburgh off as soon as they put the flight on so late. Surely these should be the bread and butter daily morning routes from BOH?

The Prestwick route is a mystery as to why its stopping although the biggest clue must be the time of the flights along with the Edinburgh routes are really poor and no good to anyone really

This is the problem with Ryanair at Bournemouth no time is given to develop a route ie . Beauvais , Wraclaw and now it looks like Turin and Milan are not showing up in the system for this winter having done ok last year ( these ski routes are on sale from other UK airports )

Hopefully Easy Jet may come in on some of these routes once the terminal is finished

Palmair are delaying the launch of there winter programme until July now , hopefully now the new aircraft is here with a much greater range they may well launch some new destinations ie . Cyprus or Egypt possibly ?

Yeh, going to have a nice terminal, however if we carry on the way in which we are going we won't have any passengers to fill it!!

I hope this link works for you all. This is a video report from BBC South Today on the progress of the new terminal. If the link is broken then just google BBC South Today and follow their link to the news piece on the main news page. Enjoy.

Such a relief to see the development work taking shape at Bournemouth.

Perhaps with the affluence in the catchment area easyJet would be more suited to the airport (than Ryanair) especially with the city airports they serve. Look at the success of Geneva for example.

I believe that Nice, Bergerac, Biaritz, Rome, Vienna, Newcastle, Belfast, Venice, Jersey, Athens & Paris (maybe Amsterdam if they can get better landfing fees) would be viable destinations that would succeed from BOH with easyJet.

Corsair 747-400? White Airlines A310's? I hope the runway resurfacing can cope with the B747-400 jet blast!

Is there a football match or something? Please someone make sure they take some pics as i will be in Scotland all week.

This is ridiculous?! What is going on?! That route has sustained BOH at times from 1996 to present. This is very serious for BOH. I can't quite believe it. I wouldn't doubt Ryanair pulling their single based aircraft in light of this.
