It eventually arruved here about 1930 at IOM.
IOM-PMI is almost definitely on the E195 it doesn't appear to be part of the four IOM based Q400s programme for S10.
E195 excellent a/c for that length of sector! Big Planes on the rock!!

Going way back a few posts......

I would say that having a stable airline with IOM-based crews (such as Flybe now) is far from the worst that the IOM could have at the moment.
Your point about insurance against the big player in the market going down is a fair point although that would have been the case with Manx Airlines then BACX in the past. In fact when the big player (BA) showed it wanted to run down its services the market became very fragmented and it all became a bit of a mess. The situation now seems to be as it was prior to BA buying out Manx/Bral; one main airline with some smaller niche routes being run by much smaller outfits.
The crews based on the Island always thought that the flights should originate from IOM (apart from it suiting domestic arrangements). This was something BACON got very wrong. You aren't waiting for the first inbound flights (esp if the wx is poor - tropical paradise?) in order to get services flown ex-IOM.
the days of Flybe (Jersey) just having a token go at an approach and then poking off to BHD should be well and truly past.

ps I don't work for Flybe in case you think so.

Token approaches?
"just having a token go at an approach " What a stupid comment.
How does that work then, they didn't really look out of the window for the lights, so they could poke off to BHD? Does having a "proper" go at an approach somehow improve things, gives better vis perhaps, develop a stutter with the decide call? Give these guys more credit than that!

I think what was meant, at least I hope so, is that if the crew and aircraft are IOM based, they will work harder and longer to ensure the passengers and aircraft get where they need to be, rather than taking the tactical decision to divert to protect the remainder of a non-Island based schedule.

Atr used to do Cardiff/CDG on wet lease for Flybe, sector was 1hr30mins so expecting 1:50 or so from IOM, no problem for ATR. RE operates Cork-La Rochelle during the summer, thats over 2 hours. Also used to do Glasgo Jersey for FlyBe, 2 hour sector as well. Hope it goes well for them!!!!!!

Going back a number of posts now, but Horry has it right.
I remember days well where the Jersey European LCY - IOM - BHD did seem to just have a go and divert.
Ransman - I seem to recall that you were quite keen yourself on maintaining IOM based crews.
Watch those fuel temperature gauges now
