If its there's most successful route then I cannot see them going to BFS before SNN. Belfast is closer to DUB than Shannon and I'd imagine with the weak Euro its more attractive than ever to go from Belfast to DUB.
Also, transatlantic routes are different to European.

On a different matter, how were the loads on the Omni 767? Did they justify the swap? With a fourth 757 allegedly joining EI on contract next year are we likely to see it return?

I didn't not agree with you in terms of MAN and 2nd DUB, I'm reserving comment on that front
I understand that BOS did quite well, the loads regularly surpassed the 757 capacity from what I hear. The reviews were quite poor though and from what I understand the 4th 757 will do an early morning JFK from DUB next year, therefore removing the need for the 757 from Shannon. Hence I can't see the 767 returning.

I think what this is very akin to is the approach IAG have taken with Iberia and BA. Focusing on markets that provide connectivity to hub ops, the other stuff outside of the core is in WW's own words, 'best suited to low cost airline operators', meaning that they won't pump resource into the most marginal of routes outside of their primary hub(s). Dub for EI, Mad for IB, and London for BA... The rest is for LOCO's...

Yes I agree AerRyan, I'm simply adding my commentary to mention a couple of pages back on the Cork thread where the discussion of a Dusseldorf route brought up the AGP suggestion take a read.
I would suspect that ORK AGP would stay but I cannot comment on how profitable or otherwise this route is as I don't access to the data on same.....

That's horrible for the French routes is it definite now nice is only available from Dublin if thats the case you'd wonder the logic in it they had a monopoly on it this year with ei gone from cork. At least Munich is saved anyways and beauvais

well with the remaining schedule does it still warant the basing of a second aircraft could they announce some replacement routes to fill up the schedule or could we see a situation where a cork deal is done and some routes are launched there, wasnt shannon trying to achieve a target of 2 million passengers a year by 2017 aswell if i remember correctly.
