Good man Carn. I was hoping you'd do it.

Great to see PIK improve so much. All in all great stats.

This now leaves the total Passengers for the year Jan-Oct at 346,322.
Fantastic, LDY is now 7000pax above the total pax count for 2010. Predictions of us coming close to or exceeding 400k this year seem to have proven correctly. What should we expect numbers to be for November... 30k and with increased frequencies, (and if the weather holds out) say another 35k for December? That'd leave LDY between 400-410k for 2011! An increase of just under 20%

The double daily Saturday & Monday LPL flights have been extended to the end of the Winter schedule. I assume RYR are happy with forward bookings to do this? Who knows we might see it continue in the Summer.

Got a e-mail message today from Flybe saying that the Manchester route will not be operating next summer.

Interesting flight in this morning from Nuremburg, WDL510

At first glance appeared to be a medical flight, possibly a transplant flight as the board showed a medical company logo, but the company on the graphic 'Abbot Diabetes Cares' make blood sugar monitoring equipment so maybe a business flight?

Google show registration as maybe this D-AELK

Photo Search Results | Airliners.net

Anyone any info on it?

Good to see NOC doing well and getting important cities continental city routes as opposed to just more bucket and spade routes. Jamie2k9, Carnmanorlad, is there any chance we'll see any new routes coming shortly. It's great to see the double dailys on Sats and Mons being extended through Feburary, but surely this shows that LDY has the customer base to support routes. If LPL can support double dailys, surely they provide more double dailys on STN too!

Will we see any new routes to the canaries, or ever see routes to places such as Paris, Milan or Frankfurt!?!

Edit - Airport numbers bounce back and are up 17.44% - Local - Londonderry Sentinel

Apparently LDY's share of the NI market has gone from 4.6 to 5.6%. Long may the improvements continue... (Still... new and lasting routes would help!)

Haven't heard anything lately. Well done to NOC on the European City routes, most of which even BFS don't serve. Whether they will all be sustainable is another question.

Now RYANAIR get your finger out and give LDY some new routes or at least 1! NOC clearly has a great product and great management team to attract these new routes. It's becoming more and more obvious that LDY doesn't have the latter?

No....never. If they haven't been tried from the main hub(s) they are unlikely to be seen operating from CODA.

It's gone from the route map now too!

Surely we will get a new route announcement shortly, they're bound to replace it with a new destination? If not things are looking bleak with 5 RYR routes.

Hopefully its a case of it's always darkest before dawn.

Why do I remain so optimistic?

I'd think they wouldn't go to the bother of putting it back on if it weren't. Seriously would appreciate some new routes right about now though!

I'll not be getting to(o) excited about LDY's summer schedule until at least Feb/Mar.

Until then, it's anybody's guess.

Just tried booking Derry - Faro 14 June 2012 - 21 June 2012 and they'll take my credit card if I have the credit limit to cover it!

So Faro seems to be on for defs for Summer 2012.

Same days too, Thursday and a Sunday.

Heard today that the problem with TFS is the amount and price of fuel needed. So obviously even though LF's were good RYR weren't making enough money. Although then i think how is NOC not in the same situation?

Fuel and an aircraft being moved from TFS with a reduction on a number of routes.
